Lessons from 2011 postseason:
1. Get a bye and at least home home field advantage game, at best two. This is partly luck, one year 13 wins may get you homefield ad all the way through; sometimes it will just get you a 3 seed and a road trip.
2. Defense is still important, but TURNOVERS ARE MOST IMPORTANT.
3. If you hit a guy helmet to helmet and knock him out while he's running (as opposed to just when he's catching), he might just drop the ball. And that's legal. See No. 2. So do that.
4. Game day coaching and on-field IQ is important. Example: Hey, how about putting an extra corner on basically the only receiving weapon on the field with just 40 seconds left?
