Would you do the same for your opponent when they are playing you? It's not collusion, but it's a jerk thing to do. Let it be and hopefully your division's opponents take care of their business.
Plus you're likely to tick off one of the other owners, and if word gets around enough of them will do whatever they can to keep you OUT of the playoffs. Draft a good enough team and you won't need to be giving advice.Would you do the same for your opponent when they are playing you? It's not collusion, but it's a jerk thing to do. The last thing I would want to hear from someone in my league is advice on how to manage my own team. Most leagues are cut-throat to those involved in them, and many have rules regarding the number of players per position. My league is so cut-throat though. There was even a rule put in place to limit the number of RBs you can have on your roster. This rule was put into place specifically because I ended up with a lot of good RBs one year. So at this point, I'm pretty much going to do anything within the rules to win, **** move or not!
"**** move or not!"? Do you want to be that guy?Nothing wrong with a little friendly advice. Now, if it's reached a point where you're running his team for him or encouraging him to bench his studs when he plays against you......then you've crossed a line.
In a league with a bunch of fairly close friends & neighbors. We see each other quite a bit and will discuss our matchups. It is not uncommon at all for someone to give their opinion about a guy that someone else is either starting or benching. I don't think that is collusion.what if his advice sucks? then he would be doing the others a favor.Would you do the same for your opponent when they are playing you? I think it depends on the context of the conversation.if it's just a couple of poolies having a beer and discussing football, that's one thing. if it's a case where you are going out of your way to give advice that's another.I usually keep the cards close to the vest regardless of who I am talking to, because you never know when an injury will make you wish those players were available for you to pickup.Would you do the same for your opponent when they are playing you? What is the point of playing fantasy football if you can't talk with your friends about it?
This is such a non-issue. If they want to take your advice, fine. If not, fine. You're not controlling their team. What, everyone must maintain radio silence until the games start? It can't be that cut throat if other owners need advice from fellow owners. My league is so cut-throat though. There was even a rule put in place to limit the number of RBs you can have on your roster.
