If anyone wants home improvement chat, my landscaper is going to charge me $185 per tree to plant 35 Leylands across the back border of our yard.  I can't pay fast enough.  Mostly because that's back breaking awful work that I have zero interest in.  Partly because the old lady who lives behind us suxor.

$185 per tree?  They better be 25ft tall.  By my rough estimation, you're paying this dude $6,500 to plant trees.  Oats you're single handedly saving the Mexican economy.

Oh, and Leylands suffer from some kind of disease that can wipe them out pretty easily.  I planted about 10 8ft tall trees (can't remember the name off the top of my head, like Leylands only way better) and those #####es have shot up a couple of feet since the fall.

Seems reasonable to me. I pay 20 bucks less per trees last year to do the side yard. They make the place look great and give us some more privacy and cover up a white fence I no longer need to power wash. WIN

Chill out Karnack, I was just asking.  When we bought our trees I think the total was $2,200.  They wanted another $1,200 to plant them so it wouldn't have been much cheaper than yours, although mine were bigger.

And Maryland'd not exactly a cheap state kemosabi.

Your leylands will grow very fast, probably double in size by next fall.
