It's worse because I'm an adult now and should have more patience than a 7 year old. None the less this day is dragging and dragging and dragging and dragging.... Ugh....

Today is a long day. I hate the Friday and Saturday between tonights game and the Sunday games also.

losing your week 1 fantasy games may be a bigger let down than losing the fantasy superbowl.

like coal on Christmas morning.

Got a work related meeting that starts at 6:00 tonight. May consider stopping in somewhere to view some prior to the hour and a half return drive. Or may just listen in to Sirius and catch the final half. Decisions decisions.

I never thought of it that way but that is pretty depressing...And Saturday I'm fine with. I have college football all day, a lawn to mow, crap to do around the house. No worries there. But today is killing me!!!

I have class every Thursday night until 11pm - tonight is no exception....and no internet in the second class that starts at 815 est. What a kick in the junk.

I'm starting on my usual routine of waking up in the middle of the night to check the waiver reports. I also have that nervous stomach & inability to focus on my normal daily routine. It truly is my favorite time of the year but at the same time I feel exhausted, yet love it! Am I bipolar??????

I agree with some of the other posters. Today is nothing compared to the friday and saturday wait for sunday after the thurs game.

Will have a hard time sleeping Sat night, prob end up crashing at 3 am and miraculously wake up bright and early for ESPN NFL Countdown.

Is it the al michaels/chris collinsworth crew? If so, who will they be interviewing in studio and on camera for 10 minutes straight while we miss plays?

Today has been long, I still have just over 4 hours to wait until my softball game. Why is everyone else's day so long?

I thought they were backing off that this year.... That was the suck...
I sure hope so. Irritated me every time they had Tim the Tool Man Taylor or some other hokie tv actor talking about his crappy tv show that won't make it past season 1 while Michaels would interject with an occasional ho hum, "And a 40 yard run. Anyway, Tim how about the show?"

I hate this day. I wish opening day was Sunday only and not this Thursday night junk. Made us move our league draft to before Labor Day weekend now and that sucks. Sorry, I'm a traditionalist....

Sitting here listening to NFL Films music and MNF theme, wondering what it feels like to be a player on this night.

GO TITANS!

Sitting here staring at a countdown clock on my computer......

1 hour, 3 minutes, 19 seconds.

Oh! Now it says 1 hour 3 minutes, 3 seconds.

 For me, the wait in between tonight's game and the Sunday games is the longest. Once I get a "taste" tonight, I'm going to be jonesing big time for the rest of them...

It's terrible. Opening Sunday, and Super Bowl Sunday are right up there on my list of favorite days, but opening Thursday is extra tough due to having to work all day.
