dynasty PPR/IDP league. start 2 qb league.

trade came through yesterday and some guys in the league are squawking about it.

Team A gave up:

trent edwards

donovan mcnabb

larry johnson

jamaal charles

frank gore

eddie royal

earl bennet

adrian wilson

3rd round pick in next year's rookie draft.

Team B Gave up:

matt ryan

michael turner

kenny britt.

d. harvey

(team B has glenn coffee to go with gore, and only had matt ryan and ben roethlisberger as starters) so i can see why he did.

is this lopsided in team A's favor? by a huge margin.

it basically comes down to:

edwards, mcnabb and a 3rd rounder for matt ryan

gore,johnson,and charles for turner

royal and bennett for britt

a. wilson for d. harvey

Well, I would put it favored towards Team B. Gore is the best player being traded here IMO. Turner is just slightly below him so that's a wash in my mind. Because it's dynasty and start 2 QB, Matt Ryan is of high value and worth much more than Edwards and McNabb, but McNabb still has a few good years so not a terrible swap there. The biggest disparity is Royal and Bennett for Britt. Britt is the third best receiver dynasty wise in that situation in my mind. That, along with KC's RBs(although they kinda suck) leave it in Team B's favor, but I don't think it's terrible enough to warrant stopping it.

it's funny cause the squawking is coming from some other owners who are saying team A is basically slaughtering team B in this trade. and i just don't see it that way, but wanted some honest and unbiased opinions. thanks.

I could see this as being a good trade for team B in the end. Especially in start 2 QB league. He added some nice depth in this trade overall. McNabb-Gore-Royal would have been higher rated than Ryan-Turner-Britt just 3 weeks ago. Add in Edwards, KC RB, and Bennett for depth looks pretty good. Team A probably had the guns to do such a thing.

if i'm team b i'm apparently in complete rebuidling mode. is he 0-4?

hopefully, he turns around and trades away some of the guys he got.

but as for A or B, i vote B got the better of this deal. Of course, we don't know who he has to cut, or if he has to cut anyone to get under a player limit.

Team A gave up:trent edwards - QB who appears to not be as good as advertiseddonovan mcnabb - QB who is oft injured and only has a few years leftlarry johnson - washed upjamaal charles - no a stud, but with Larry this guy gets another backfieldfrank gore - Stud for another 4-5 yearseddie royal - buying low, but he's only in his 2nd year. Could get traded or sign elsewhere.earl bennet - young WR in a good system with a good QBadrian wilson - productive CB on the decline3rd round pick in next year's rookie draft.Team B Gave up:matt ryan - 2nd year franchise QB with a good young WR (and a good old TE)michael turner - down year so far, will not get recieving yards, last year was maybe the best he haskenny britt - this kid looks good, I like him, but you have to give to getd. harvey - don't know this guy, don't play IDP sorry(team B has glenn coffee to go with gore, and only had matt ryan and ben roethlisberger as starters) so i can see why he did.
I think this is pretty even and can see why both teams did it.

never like those types of trades...4,5,6 players for like 2,3...generally those won't work because of roster restriction.

but in answer i won't the 8 players.
