Is Thomas Jones the #1 RB in your league? (1 Viewer)

Because I was just looking at rankings and he is #1 in ours. I feel like punching myself in the face. Thomas Jones? Really? I'm dumbfounded.

2nd in all 3 of my leagues. Turner is #1 in my non-PPR leagues by 2 points. And Forte is #1 in my PPR by around 15

I had him and never started him. He sat behind LT, Chris Johnson, Ronnie Brown, and Larry Johnson. So I traded him away for Phillip Rivers. This one has not worked out very well.

It's amazing how poorly this team did with all the running backs I had.

So in various orders we are talking about heading into the playoffs with the Top 3 RBs being:

Thomas Jones

Michael Turner

Matt Forte

Un-freakin-believable.

:sadbanana:

I was offered Javon Walker for him at the beginning of the summer. I actually thought about that one since I was desperate at WR. I eventually turned it down and countered with T. Jones straight-up for Mason. That was rejected.

After 10 years of this, sometimes the best trades I make are still the ones that I don't make.

Top 12 in my league:

Turner, Michael RB 108.0

Jones, Thomas RB 103.0

Williams, DeAngelo RB 101.0

Jacobs, Brandon RB 92.0 <--- I own

Peterson, Adrian RB 90.0

White, LenDale RB 89.0

Westbrook, Brian RB 86.0

Forte, Matt RB CHI 84.0 <--- I own

Jones-Drew, Maurice RB 79.0 <--- I own

Barber, Marion RB 78.0

Brown, Ronnie RB 78.0

Slaton, Steve RB 78.0

ADP, DeAngelo, and Fatdale are the only 3 of these 12 to miss the playoffs (6 teams out of 10)

 Tried moving him almost the entire first half of the season in a dynasty league. No bites, even on the cheap. He's single handedly put me into the playoffs. Here's to hoping that the run will continue to a SB.

So, you know, pretty much what the rankings said they'd be at the beginning of the year.

Turner, Westbrook, and D. Williams have all had the extra boost of a four touchdown game. Not that those games shouldn't count, as I'm sure they all went a long way in winning games for most of their owners, but for me, consistency is the most important thing. For my money, T.Jones and Forte have been the best this year.

PPR

1) Forte/Turner

3) Barber

4) Peterson

5) T. Jones

No RB in top 10 in the league in scoring. Forte is highest at No. 11. T. Jones is No. 19.

I don't know the per player points, I know Forte is the leading scorer for running backs at 322 points for the year. And on my team.

Not to mention DeAngelo Williams is likely in the top 5 in most leagues. It's been a strange season, to say the least.

Bolded are on my team. Traded Cotchery, Lynch for T. Jones, T.O. week 3. Very. very nice surprise. This is a ppr league.

Second in mine behind Forte. 1PPR league.

I drafted him in the 5th believing in him this year :)

Traded him for Chris Johnson right before TJ went on his run for player of the month :boxing:

yes, but very close (6pts TD 1pt/10yds rsuh/rec.)

T.Jones 202.9

M.Turner 200.0

M.Forte 197.0

pretty funny. only ADP (4) is in the top5 of all the "1st round picks".

No LT (8), Westbrook, Jackson, Addai, Barber (7), Lynch, Gore (9), Portis (6)
