Is Tiki really the consensus #4 right now? (1 Viewer)

Before the preseason started LJ, LT, SA and Portis were pretty much everyone's top 4. Portis gets injured and everyone jumps on SJAX. While Tiki has always been in the top 6 or 7, with the questions surrounding SJAX and Stephen Davis crowding the backfield, Tiki seems to have taken over the #4 spot.

My question is....Does there come a time when Peyton sneaks into the #4 spot? Barber may lose touches to Jacobs and he's on the wrong side of 30. Eli is improving, so I expect him to go downfield more especially with a healthy Shockey and Burress to throw to.

Say you're in a start 2 QB league with PPR. Does Tiki still rank higher than Peyton? In non-PPR? All TDs worth 6, where does Peyton fall then with PPR? non-PPR?

Just some food for thought for people drafting this weekend...

With Jacobs seemingly having a big role this year, and with Chris Perry out for at least the first half season, I'd argue that Rudi Johnson is the true #4 pick. He could even surpass some or all of the top 3 guys by seasons end.

Tiki went #7 in my draft yesterday one spot before Manning and after SJax, Ronnie Brown, and Rudi in that order. Considering this was a league made up of mostly Giants fans/season ticket holders in NJ, it's hard to gauge whether the Brandon Jacobs hype is affecting our ability to rank his value.

FWIW, I was not one of the ones who passed on him at 4-6.

Tiki fell to the 11th pick...and this is a PPR league. QBs score a lto in our system followed closely by RBs - but I couldn't believe he dropped to 11. More believable if Cadillac and Eli hadn't been drafted before him.

Drafts never cease to amaze me.

In a non-PPR, with 6Pts for all TDs, 1/10 rush, 1/20 pass...Id take Manning #4 with no hesitation.

But I expect a 4500/38+ type season.

He went #3 in my draft this weekend!! At #4 I was erecting a tent in my pants to snap up LT. Of course later on, the same owner proceeded to draft Greg Jones and Dom Davis. The really good news, I get to play him twice!BTW, I know no one cares but I had to gbrag to someone
