ISEE-3/ICE satellite - anyone else following this? (1 Viewer)

The 1978 ISEE-3/ICE craft has made its way back to us, and we no longer have equipment capable of communicating with it. A non-profit operating out of an abandoned McDonald's has taken over for NASA and is now in control of the satellite. You can follow its progress here.

I was trying to be funny, considering obesity is still a very real problem, that any McDonald's would close just seemed strange to me. That being said, I'm quite impressed that we can communicate with the satellite, and I hope we can still use it. Somehow.
