If you found your QB tonight that will more than make up for a draft slot or two.All these guys need to do now is to lose to get a higher draft pick. Instead they beat the dang Eagles and draft day is a little less fun for their fans. I'm sure the QB we would want will go one pick ahead of the Vikes. It is tough to be a Vikes fan. Stupid is/
Panthers have clinched the #1 spot no matter what, so they really should play to win if they want to screw over the Falcons.Although I doubt we'll be able to tell the difference on Sunday between whether they played to win or mailed it in.Hoping a panther thread like this pops up next week.
This never gets old. No, really keep posting it every time the Vikings and draft are mentioned in the same post. You!Are!Awesome!!!Whats the diff? they would just pass when its their turn to pick anyhow.
It was so pathetic it still has mileage. Like Philly fans booing Santa Claus, only worse because it affected the actual team. This never gets old. Didn't they get Kevin Williams with that pick? The Vikings are fine, and c'mon: you can't seriously wish for your team to lose games just to secure high draft picks. They came out and beat the #### out of a possible SB contender. Show as much pride as they did.It was so pathetic it still has mileage. I think this Philly game just shows what this team could have done with just a modicum of decent quarterbacking and coaching. It is sad in a way. Also the irony that the Vikes have sent Philly to a 1st round playoff game vs the Pack - a game Philly might lose - is interesting. As a Saints fan, I'm loving the prospect of GB winning in Philly and then Atlanta. This fell into place nicely. All these guys need to do now is to lose to get a higher draft pick. Is Armanti Edwards playing QB next week?We need a Joe Webb impersonation plus an upset on the scale of App. State @ Michigan.Hoping a panther thread like this pops up next week.
I am just happy they came to play tonight. It was good to see them play with some heart.
You may be on to something... maybe it was pictures of Goodell that Brett sent to Stergerhow about rumors that they will start Favre in the last game if he passes physical....why? Give Webb another game of experience and see what you have with him - you cant simulate an NFL start for a young QB....also NFL dragging out any punishment - Favre must have pictures of someone...ooops.
I can see the starting favre for his last game but if they do I would not be surprised if he played one series, tipped his hat to the crowd and went and sat on the bench.how about rumors that they will start Favre in the last game if he passes physical....why? The players clearly had no heart to play in the weather and on that field. It started with Klewe'sNot trying to pee on the Frazier hype here, but what happened last week when they clearly mailed it in vs a division rival? He did not have his team ready to face the Bears and they got slaughtered at home and if you watched that game by the middle of the 3rd the Vikings had no fight left in them and clearly didn't care as they kept kicking the ball to Hester.
The Vikings played awesome last night, Webb is probably not ready to be a starting QB but they do have some great players in key positions which will go a long way on making them a playoff contender again next year... unfortunately. I just hate seeing this now Frazier is the answer because he won this game, and I guess last week is just forgotten when his team clearly did not come out to play or maybe they can blame Brett since he did play a few plays.
