As if the scenery, architecture, food, wine, artwork, history, artifacts weren't enough, there were a crazy amount of hot chicks in the great country of Italy.  This is about .001% of them, pics I was able to get off and turned out. Although most are from behind, you'll have to trust me they were hot.  Mostly jeans during the day but at night lace stockings with REALLY short skirts and heels seemed to be the dress of choice for most of them.  See pic 10 for, sadly, my only example.  Didn't feel like turning on flash and looking like a creep.  Great Googly Moogly.

Here you go, your souvenir, my friends in the FFA

You're so right about hot chicks in Italy. My first night in Rome, two hot police chicks got out of their car right in front of me. A few minutes later at about midnight, a garbage truck pulls up and there were two hot chicks collecting the garbage. I thought I was in some kind of weird porn flick or something.

Seriously. I didn't get many looks the whole trip, probably because I wasn't wearing a cat shirt. As we were leaving the hotel in Florence I see this hot Italian broad, short skirt, high heels, straddle a motorcycle and really get into it because I was watching her.  Revved it up, jerked it up and down out of the rack.  Was about to go on her way but took time to stop and wink at me.  Oh baby...

SLB went to Italy and all we go were stalking photos from an american creep with a camera phone
It's not like I'm the first one here to ever go to Italy, didn't really think anybody cared.

But since you asked, here's a few of the thousands of other pics I took.

Me and Mrs. SLB after being up drinking for 36 hours, 12 of them walking around in the rain in Venice.

Cats and cat references seemed to be everywhere in Venice and although I'm a folk hero, I was allowed to walk around without being bothered.

Here we are at a winery in Tuscana

One of the views from the top of the Duomo bell tower in Florence.  That's 463 steps to the top to you and me, Russ.

Tasty calzone and pizza, Best carbonara ever, cannollini was really good too, possibly the best thing I've ever had in my life, the wabbit

This looks like an oil painting but is actual a mosaic that's located in St. Peter's Basillica.  It's so tight you could barely tell in person that it was a bunch of tiles. Remarkable. You can also see that the Pope was hurting about the 12th century.

I really should have included in the OP that the people in Italy were wonderful.  So friendly, welcoming.  Almost everybody we met, mostly waiters, waitresses, concierge, etc., thought we were Spanish though.  Had one guess German, one French and only one correct with American.  We did make friends in Venice with this couple from England though and spent the evening pounding boots of beer.  This dude's voice makes Morgan Freeman's sound like Bobcat Goldthwait.

Also, I wasn't exactly stalking as much as taking pics of people walking by me.  HTH

Carbonara is my favorite dish of all.  I make it myself quite often. I was told by an Fat Waiter in Napoli once that you need to heat up butter and seperate the frothy part. He also couldn't stop talking about Newcastle and Relagation but thats off topic.  Also he said cheek meat is what they use over there in Carbonara.  Im driving and I forget what its called but google it.  Thanks for the pics!

 You're welcome, GB.  It's my favorite too and the only one dish I ordered in all of the major cities so I could compare.

I agree.  All of the food in Rome crushed the rest of Italy when I was there back in 2002.

Guanciale is the pork cheek I was talking about fyi.

I freaking  pork cheek then.

Should probably delete that pic of us in Venice.  Mrs. SLB cleans up a lot better and looks like a drowned rat which she was. :oldunsure:

This is different than walking around St. Louis how exactly?
LOL.

If you watched the draft and saw the bar in Indianapolis after their pick, you would not ask that question. There are just better places. Trust me. I lived in LA for almost a year. I've lived in NC for years (thumbs up for the South) and I grew up in New England. There are beautiful women everywhere, but the percentages of beautiful women and girls in the Indy bar can vary widely.

Only place I have been in Italy is Milan and I loved the food there. The tomatoes in the caprese salad were so damn good. Loved it so much, I ate a huge share an appetizer portion all by myself and I usually like the mozzarella way more. I have no idea what those tomatoes were, but damn best ones I've ever eaten, probably helps with the sauce.

I have beat it with a dead horse but I will say it again.  I was in the Starbucks in Garden City (Cranston R.I.) this morning having a meeting, and at least three perfect tens (two in yoga pants) walked in over the two hour window.  There were a dozen other 8's, probably five 9's, and the college girls haven't even returned home yet.  We are ground zero for New England hotness.  Just a typical morning in Cranston.

I enjoyed Boston, NYC and Providence. Best friend growing up went to PC, so we spent a lot of time there. Was it Foxy's that I remember?

That said, the women down South have a leg up on my hometown area in CT.

Yes, really good stuff.  My order of wine, olive oil and balsamic vinegar showed up today so we're going to make a capreses salad to share with my parents, who watched our boys while we were gone, and look at pics.  BelGioioso isn't as good but is pretty close to the mozzarella we had there.

Bet ya the old man likes #11 too.

Yeah, you're right.  Better wording would have been "closest I can find" unless you can point me in the right direction to find the good stuff around town, GB.
You know what's funny, I buy the BelGioso from Sam's (decent value for price) but the wife was just saying last week how it just isn't that good and we should just spend more to buy quality cheese.  I was about to start a search to see what I could find.  I'll keep you updated.  And yes, what you said above makes more sense.  Unfortunately, nothing we buy here will be in the same ballpark as what the motherland has.
