Absolutely- Charlie Day was on O&A promoting Pacific Rim. The conversation of course turned to sunny. Day said this was his favorite episode and it was written regarding their lack of awards. He went on quite a bit about it. That was why there was a "laugh track" at the Suds bar. There were lots of references to bad stuff that seems to win awards every year. Funny stuff.ok.. i was thinking the same thing... was the "bar contest" a euphemism for how their show has never won any awards?God bless these people. That episode made me proud to be a fan.![]()
Great episode for Emmy week.
If you have direct tv call them and whine. I got it for free when I threatened to drop there service. Check out the negotiating with direct tv thread for more/better advice.I don't have fxx either. I feel like a poor person. Guess I'll upgrade, then. Ruins my night.
I'm not sure anyone's every consistently dropped GD as well as she has.Being raised Catholic I feel somewhat guilty for laughing as hard as I do at Olson's G-D bombs.
Mac and Dee are 1 and 1a.Frank stuck in the playgroundI'm not sure anyone's every consistently dropped GD as well as she has.Being raised Catholic I feel somewhat guilty for laughing as hard as I do at Olson's G-D bombs.

I have the exact same feeling. They are timed and delivered perfectly and I just can not help myself.Dennis and Frank were doing some great work in the scene by the vending machine with Dennis laying out all the reasons why Mac is a terrible human being.Dennis was killing me in this episode. Grabbing the pillow and screaming into it and trying to force Mac to admit that he got his ### kicked were hysterical.
i've been in a process of rewatching all the older seasons.. i watch a few episodes a week. Certainly there are some episodes that don't speak to me as much as other, but overall they have sure kept the quality level high over the years.on fire as always
wait... you weren't rolling at the timeshare or the bar tries to win an award episode? One of the better episodes in a long time this past Wednesday.
Yeah, the consistent quality and longevity is pretty amazing.i've been in a process of rewatching all the older seasons.. i watch a few episodes a week. I think one thing that helps is the lower number of episodes they have to churn out these days to constitute a season vs. what Seinfeld had to do years ago (22-25 episode seasons were common for them... and that's also a component of network tv as well).

Nobody was wearing sleeves.
"Mac, I'm going to stop you right there. First of all, your breath smells like an old lady fart passing through an onion.."Thought it was a great episode.
They other night I caught the one where they sneak into a house to find a vase. One of my favorites.
didnt notice at firstNobody was wearing sleeves.
mac admitting defeat with the stuck chips had me rollingmy wife loves Sweet Dee's GD bombs, but isn't normally a fan of the phrase.Being raised Catholic I feel somewhat guilty for laughing as hard as I do at Olson's G-D bombs.I have the exact same feeling. During the Season 7 episode The Gang Gets Trapped, a short, angry, monologue by Dennis Reynolds captures the essence of The Gang's modus operandi: "We immediately escalate everything to a ten. ... (S)omebody comes in with some preposterous plan or idea, then all of a sudden everyone's on the gas, nobody's on the brakes, nobody's thinking, everyone's just talking over each other with one idiotic idea after another. Until, finally, we find ourselves in a situation where we've broken into somebody's house - and the homeowner is home."
Great stuff.Decided to look up Sunny on Wikipedia and found this quote that has me rolling for wahtever reason

Yeah, I'm really surprised Day has been the only one to really go to the next level. Maybe the rest don't want to, which I totally respect....but I thought Day did really well in Horrible BossesGreat stuff.Decided to look up Sunny on Wikipedia and found this quote that has me rolling for wahtever reason

I wish Howerton would get some outside opportunities like Day has (there is a sequel to "Horrible Bosses" coming out). He deserves it. He killed it last season.
I don't know why, but I couldn't stop laughing when Frank just ate hot dogs while everyone was getting shot.100th episode tonight.
Mac's shrug at Dee's death...and then heaven with the half-naked dudes.
Dee's rage.
Oh yea... been a long running gag. I think it started mostly with "the implication" on the Boat ep.... and really went up a notch on the season 6 or 7 finale when they went to the HS reunion and they found his "tools" in the back of his Rover. Also, has it already been confirmed before or was this episode the first confirmation that Dennis' is or will be a serial killer (look on his face when killing the chick).
