I think my new favorite thing about these episodes is that there always seems to be like 2 or 3 random people in the bar just drinking, oblivous to the ridiculous hijinx the four are up to. Always cracks me up.

2 & 1 are good, but in the back for me because the Frank character had not yet become what he turned into. "The Gang Gets Invincible" (another top 5 episode for me) was the second episode of season 3 and really began to turn Frank into the drug-gobbling, gun-wielding psychopath he's become for the balance of the series.

I said it before....the high school reunion episodes should have been the series finale...it gives us so much insight on why those 4 are how they are. Could've been one of the best series finales ever.Can't get much better than that.

Have to agree. Should have saved the reunion episodes for the series finale. Before the epic dance sequence, Charlie implores the gang to go back to the bar where they can hide from the world. Thought that was such a cool line to throw in--have him actually say out loud what they always do but none of them ever bring up. The reunion basically summed up their mentality of getting into misadventures before retreating to the safety of Paddies, how the outside world views them compared to how they view themselves, and Smitty stealing the waitress from Charlie would have been a nice cherry on top. Dennis getting his "tools" out of the trunk and the gang's reaction was also
