It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (1 Viewer)

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Wow. I need to watch that episode at least 2 more times to let it all soak in. I'm not sure whose session I enjoyed more.

Dee's daddy issues and need for approval. - "Did you like it? Tell me you liked it. Tell me. Tell me!"

Frank's lip-less 1st kiss - " It was terrible. But not her. She was an angel. Always smiling... that's because she had no lips. But her mouth was still very much in play."

Mac's closet homosexuality - "You leave this pen here and people are supposed think, 'That looks like a d**k.' "

Dennis' superiority complex - "Consider me your peer - in profession and academia, not age."

Charlie well Charlie is just Charlie - "Bleach smells good, it tastes good"

Yeah, we knew most of this already but seeing it played out in a professional's office just really brought home how messed up these people really are.

Top notch episode for the series IMO

I did like the ending. Kinda ripped from the cannibal episode, but dark Frank is awesome. Forcing his own kids to dig up their mother's grave just to screw with them. :lmao:

Charlie's and Mac's mom running the scam was also funny. I didn't love it last night, but now thinking about the whole structure and idea of the episode, it may have been better than I thought. I seem to find that when I watch them right away (like appointment TV), I like them less, probably because my expectations and anticipation are raised.

If you were to cast the FFA, or perhaps just the GMTAN since we are talking a bunch of alcoholic substances abusers, in IASIP, how would that go? Plot line?
EG72 as Dennis. He has the kind of scheming mind to catalyze shenanigans.Shadyridr as Mac because he talks a lot without being all that funny, though occasionally so. Thinks that he is particularly tough, but would surely run into problems.GM could probably do Charlie (imagining an episode with Charlie riding a tricycle at halftime of a basketball game).Girl A as Dee. Snarky, kind of annoying, easy to pile on.Chet as Frank, since he has more money than he knows what to do with and is sick of foreign exchange students and ski chalets.Safariplanet as Rickety Cricket.
:lmao: fair enough

I thought both of the last two episodes were phenomenal. This past week's was brilliant satire (probably just because I agree with the message so wholeheartedly) but also wickedly funny. The ending was the best.. Frank revealing he'd forced them to dig up their dead mother because they thought he was slipping mentally is so dark and so hysterical. The whole Puff Daddy cameo was awesome too, from the NKOTB playing when they walked in to him reprising it on the bass as a "cure"... :lmao:

Charlie: "You’re telling me you believe that Christ comes back to life every Sunday in the form of a bowl of crackers and then you proceed to just eat the man?"

Dennis: "He was delicious!"

Mrs. Kelly (1949-2012??) : "Any minute now, my lungs are going to sizzle, pop, and disintegrate into a liquid lung and organ bowl of soup (That was my line!) Give me money. Money me. Money now. Me a money needing a lot now (...and that was all Charlie.)"

:lmao:

FIGHT MILK BAWWWWHK! With Crowtein.

This season has been my favorite so far. The callbacks keep happening and I'm loving them all.

Dennis just gets creepier and creepier with each episode.

Anyone else reminded of DeVito's character from "Other People's Money" when he sold off the company?

Charlie can't read

He'll adjust.

Adjust to reading?

Howerton has been ridiculous this season. Unbuckling and rebuckling his belt: I need to re-calibrate.I thought the Devito reference was intentional, much like the one to "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest". I am waiting for the "Twins" reference in forthcoming episodes.

I love me some creepy Dennis... I'd love to see animal lover Dennis make a reappearance sometime though. He had a real on screen rapport with Special Agent Jack Bauer in that ep where Charlie was Serpico.

Crap, my dvr cut off after Frank got the phone call and he announced that it's all over... what happened? He sell to the Japanese?

"If this company's going to work, we gotta cut the crust off this #### sandwich !"

"I want this sushi dinner to be ( o Y o )

Sure, Frank, we'll make sure it's really good...

No, I mean I want to eat sushi off some *** broad's ( o Y o )"

God, I love it when they turn Frank loose. "The Warthog." :lmao:

I swear his glasses are bigger this year and the closeups just crack me the #### up

The huge picture of him in the meeting room was great too. God, I love Danny DeVito. Not sure how much you know about him personally as opposed to the Frank character, but he's got more Frank in him than anyone would have thought.

So far this season so far I'd rank 'em:

"The Gang Gets Analyzed"

"The Maureen Ponderosa Wedding Massacre"

"The Gang Recycles Their Trash"

"Frank's Back in Business"

"Pop Pop: The Final Solution"

.

.

"Charlie's Mom Has Cancer"

The top 4 I think are classics. The only one so far I haven't truly enjoyed is "Charlie's Mom Has Cancer". I re-watched all of the others a few times by now except that one. Maybe its because I expected too much since its based on the show's original pilot. But you knew she didn't really have it.

The only part I really laughed out loud was Charlie at Mass. It reminded me of the time I went to my 1st Catholic Mass when I transferred to Catholic school. Just about everybody in Southwest Philly was Catholic except my family and the pubic schools were getting bad. I remember my first day in a new school attending mass and not knowing what the hell was going on. Up,down, kneel, and now we're shaking hands!?!? WTF?!?!

Dee: When you do good in virtual life it is kind of like you're doing good in real life

Charlie: I would like to make fun of you for saying that....but I kind of get what you mean.
