Tonight's episode: The Gang Turns Black
Yeah, I am a fan! That new show "The Mick" with Dee is pretty decent for a prime time network comedy. Not as funny as IASIP, but not bad.
Watching the episode where Mac and Dennis move to the suburbs.JoeSteeler said:season 11 now on netflix![]()
You a cop?Probably my least favorite episode of the series.
lol...I haven't seen the episode yet but a friend of mine blasted the show on FB, saying it was the worst episode ever. You a cop?
I'm not complaining about them taking risks. Just saying that one was a swing and a miss for me. Like EG, I really don't like musicals. And while there were a couple of laughs, there certainly wasn't close to as many as I expect from the show.it's season freaking 11, they need/deserve to do different things to keep it fresh
I think this is Season 12, actually. They're obviously going to try a bunch of different stuff to keep it fresh. They did this last year with the skiing episode and (to a greater extent) the "Being Frank" episode last year and the "Charlie Work" and "Maureen Ponderosa Wedding Massacre" episodes in season 10. I respect the originality of the concept, I just found the "lol" moments to be fewer and farther between. That's OK. I feel like musicals hinder comedy a bit. It's harder to be hilarious when everything has to rhyme.I'm not complaining about them taking risks. Just saying that one was a swing and a miss for me. Like EG, I really don't like musicals. Of course, being the worst ASIP episode is like being the homeliest Victoria's Secret model.
That was a whole different animal though. The "musical" portion of The Nightman Cometh was only a small portion of the episode and it was shot so that we were behind the curtain. This episode, we're in the audience, and probably 80-90% of the dialogue was sung as opposed to spoken. TNC was probably the inverse.I loved the the night man cometh. And I don't care for musicals. I would rate that a 9 and last night a 3.

Highlight of last season is when McElhenny almost broke character laughing when that dude started flogging it.
+1ef all y'all, I loved it

"I think we're not supposed to make wild assumptions about black people based on whether or not we have stuff in our pockets"
Charlie is gold as always and the dude can sing. Loved this episode as a nice, bizarre, fresh start to a new season.
Almost spit out my drink when Dennis waves his hand in front of "old black guy" face."I'm going to show up to work and they'll be like 'Why is there blood all over you?' BECAUSE I HAD TO SLIT THE GUY'S THROAT WHO CAUSES ALL THE TRAFFIC!"Season 11 up on netflix too. The suburbs and cruise episode are so great.
DVRed. Looking forward to watching. s12e1 was miles less funny than The Mick, which should never happen.Funny as hell. Makes up for last weeks debacle
