It's April Fool's Day (1 Viewer)

We see it every year... the worst rumors get spread on April 1st. I'd say we should just take a break from reading any football news today but... what fun would that be?

Adam Schefter already tweeted this about 45 minutes ago:

"A prediction that's no April Fool's joke: There will be at least one NFL trade made today (but not the one everyone's waiting for)."

So maybe there will be some real news today?

Case in point:

6:40 am Twitter from Joe Rose Show ( SportsRadio 560 WQAM):

BREAKING NEWS: We are hearing reports that Ronnie Brown is being shipped to New England for the 44th pick in the draft.....stay tuned...

7:58 am Twitter from Joe Rose Show:

I have been dooped...what an idiot i am....my sources got me....April Fools and i am the biggest one....Ronnie Brown still a Dolphin

Read about a Calvin Johnson for Chris Johnson trade first thing this morning somewhere... Wasn't even good enough for a chuckle.

:kicksrock:

I think the trade Schefters talking about could be Sims to the Lions.
True. Also, love the Gob pic.
Or it's this? Poor Alex Brown, he's so ronery.
Alex Brown hasn’t been traded or released by the Bears, but he clearly expects to be. He’s already saying goodbye.

“I am extremely grateful for my time as a Chicago Bear and I wish the Bears the best,” the defensive end posted on his Twitter page Wednesday. “I am glad that they gave me an opportunity to realize a dream I had as a child. I appreciate the fans but as we all know this is the nature of the business. Bear down!”

Brown, 30, has spent all eight of his NFL seasons with the Bears and is scheduled to make $5 million next season, making a trade difficult. The Chicago Tribune had reported that the Bears are trying to deal Brown, but he’ll likely be released if they can’t find a trade partner.

Here's one from last April 1st:

Al Davis plans on taking Hey-Bey with the 7th overall pick.

Man, that one was FUNNY!

oops. :moneybag:
