For starters, Percy Harvin. I think we agree that the kid should be paid, but stop being a cry baby about it and your not the best WR in the league.

Next is Revis, he held out when he was drafted in 2007 for ridiculously rookie contract. 2010 he held out for a 40m plus ext and now 3 yrs later and coming off a torn ACL he wants to redo his contract. The jets don't to trade you because their rebuilding, they want to trade you because your a pain in a__.

 
The top of the 2013 draft has no elite QB like Andrew Luck or RGIII but that the rest of the draft is deep.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will not be active in free agency. (Have to be a Jaguars follower for this one.)

 
I don't really get sick of any of these guys, I get sick of the idiot media that needs to spew it out to us 400 times a day.

I mean, Percy Harvin's agent can report like a 7 word comment to the media, and they will run with it in a way that makes you think Percy harvin is standing on the roof of his house 11 hours a day shouting to whoever will listen that he should get paid like Megatron, when in reality Harvin probably had ONE meeting with his agent, and the agent said a few words about it.

I have seen the same soundbite from a player run over and over for months and people say "I am so sick of so and so, why doesn't he just shut his mouth"..........when the guy hasn't said anything publicly for weeks at that point.

So I guess I will just put it like this. It's March and I am already sick of hearing about "news that is re-hashed over and over that isn't even really news in the first place".

But, if I must get a bit specific...........The stuff I am most sick of hearing about:

- Te-o

- Flacco

- Anything Skip Bayless says

- people on here debating the value of Lamar Miller, haha

I don't think anyone here actually thinks it is the players who are causing this. It's obviously the media, twitter, etc repeating stuff ad naseum.

 
Ever since I've become more reliant on twitter and only really turned on NFLN (or MLBN) as background noise at the end of the day this noise issue has become less and less. Highly recommended.

Technically he hasn't flip flopped. He said he was 95% sure he'd retire after last year, which of course means 50-50. He did leave the door open. It's not like he filed the papers to retire, and then go against it and come back like a Randy Moss or something.

Yeah, I don't care about this one at all. Put yourself in his shoes. Every single thing in the guy's life SCREAMS retire...........except for his love of playing football. And if there is ever anyone I wouldn't mind getting some extra media attention, it's Tony G. I didn't even care about Favre flipfopping. I just hated the constant media attention they gave him. Not his fault. That, and it's only MARCH. The season is barely over. And is he really flipflopping?? We all know he is gonna play, haha

You're right, various media report non-newsworthy items ad nauseum. However, I really am sick of Tebow himself. Details are more appropriate for another thread, but generally the media can't report on someone as much if the player isn't putting himself out there more than others, IMO.
 
Differences between Mel Kiper's and Todd McShay's mock draft...neither will get it right and their bickering on tv makes them look childish.

Mock drafts in general. They're fun but to see grown men arguing about them is lame.
