I kno this is a lil off topic but this has to be my favorite time of the FF season next to Draft Day! If any of you in a league like mine where most of the owners are made up of friends and coworkers that u see on a daily basis it's great fun. It's nothing like having ff conversations at work and then try to figure who is lying who is posturing to get a certain player. The best is when someone just throws out a random player while u guys are at lunch like I'm really liking CJ this yr what u guys think. Gotta love it sorry bout the rant but I'm like a lil kid after thanksgiving lmao!!

Not to be a buzz kill, but I feel the complete opposite. My league is similar to yours I guess (friends-coworkers-members in the same family), and we ALWAYS talk smack about each others teams and players. In that this is the s-l-o-w-e-s-t time of the NFL calendar, there is no news to talk smack about. Yeah, ok, Suggs tore his achilles and Nicks broke his foot and both of those got considerable amount of smack talked about them (and I should know, BOTH of them are on my team), but aside from those there isn't anything really going on and because of it the smack talk is down and the league is a bit dull. That should all chance in about a month, though.....and I can't wait!

Hey Matty I here u I think it depends on the people in the league! Not everyone is as excited as I am maybe it's down because it sounds like you are in a keeper league. It's one of the reasons I'd rather not play in a keeper league

It's a dynasty league (been going 10 years strong), which is the only way to play the game! There is no "offseason" in a dynasty league!

Honestly, I can't play in any other league than dynasty either. I'm a commissioner for one and I'm always wheelin and dealin so there literally is no off-season. The slowest times are between the draft and training camp and between our trading deadline and the playoffs.

Agreed. Haven't played a re-draft in a couple years at this point.

I hate this time, the lull after mini-camps and waiting for camps to start up. I don't have NFL Network, so ESPN is my main source of NFL news on the TV. So I hate when ESPN bumps it's NFL shows for the Little League World Series. But at least when camps start there's tons of other sources of news.

This the worst time of the year! THis is when the beat writers have nothing to write about, so they talk about arian foster's diet.

And, theres no other sports. I dont count golf and tennis.

I do redrafts, and I like em. Drafting is a huge part of the fun for me and my league mates.

I have a countdown app on my phone as to when my draft is, but I'm a little unusual when it comes to fantasy passion.
