I've been offered Ortiz for Hamels or Lackey... (1 Viewer)

I've got to accept this deal right????? I believe I would do it for Hamels before Lackey.

The only hesitation I have is that my pitching staff has been slipping of late and Lackey and Hamels have been keeping me afloat. Also I am currently doing well in the hitting catagories except for BA. While Ortiz has a nice average, I have D Young's .340 there. I could bench Dye and slide Victorino into the OF to play Papi at DH. This is not a keeper league and my current standing is as follows:

Overall - 3rd place with 85.50

BA - 9th, HR - 1st, RBI - 4th, R - 1st, SB - 5th

K - 2nd, ERA - 7th, WHIP - 5th, W - 9th, S - 1st

12 team, 5x5 Roto league - My Team...

2B- C. Utley

3B- R. Braun

SS- B. Harris

OF- G. Sizemore, V. Wells, Dye

DH- S. Victorino

SP - Lackey, Kazmir, Hamels, Cain, Blanton, Guthrie, Burnett (DL), Carpenter (OUT for season)

RP - Jones, Hoffman, Fuentes

Was this just offered to you? Ortiz left the game tonight with a shoulder strain. Francona said shouldn't be anything serious, but couple that with the knee problem, and I'd be hesitant to move on Papi

I would trade Lackey for Big Papi in a heartbeat if it's a keeper league. If it's a redraft league I would trade Hamels for Ortiz.
