I'm also old enough to remember watching him play. He was on some very good (Roman Gabriel) teams that used to wage fierce war in the NFL Western Conference with my beloved Baltimore Colts.

Was he Jack Frost as a child? I know, this is no time for jokes. I remember Snow as a good player in the late 60's, and into the 70's. I feel sorry for his family.I have a special interest in his death, because I too have to get a hip replacement some day because of degnerative arthritis in my hip. My doctors say I'm too young right now (they only last about 20 years), but it's inevitable. It worries me because of infection or blood clots that can kill you post surgery. **** Shaap also died from post hip replacement complications.

Edited to say, that **** Schaap may have died while getting hip replacement, not post surgery. I can't remember.

Dave Brown, a 15 year vet also recently died. He is 7th all time in interceptions. Played mostly with Seattle. Ended his career in Green Bay.
