Jacksonville vs. Tampa (1 Viewer)

TB must let Jax score, it's there only chance now....doubt that either coach is smart enough to figure out what to do in this situation though....

Maybe on the replay reviews the refs have to announce it to the booth first so that is why the Gamecenter is updated first?????

Holy crap!!! Jax ran a play and TB defended it!!! I can not believe what I am watching tonight!!!

What were they talkin' about never pass in this situation? Ya gotta make the 1st and an out pattern on the sidelines is as safe as it gets. With everyone keying on Taylor. this was a no brainer call. The announcers are contradicting just to hear themselves talk. Anyone here raising teenage girls know what I mean?

If TB lets Jax score, they would have had about 2:30 to work with trailing by 14, incredible....

BJ's YPA - 4.1 on 38 attemptsPeople should be fired over stats like that.
Thank god, now hopefully all the BJ pimps on this board failed to make the playoffs and will shut the F*** up about how great he is and stop jinxing him. :excited:

With the way the Bucs offense was playing tonight, I'm sure they would have had a GREAT shot of coming back from 14 down in that amount of time.

Did the refs screw up the clock again? When Jimmy Smith made that sideline catch with 2:55 left to bring up 4th and 1 (which Fred Taylor converted). The ref motioned to keep the clock going and then stopped for a measurement. It didn't look like they started it again until the ball was snapped. Shouldn't the clock start as soon as the ball is spotted and the play clock is started?

Still better than rolling over like a whore and giving up.Of course, you'd like to think that one team would be well-schooled enough to know that letting the quick score in offers their only mathematical chance, and the other well-schooled enough to run out of bounds (slowly) instead of letting it happen. But neither was the case. I think Billick was the last coach I actually saw allow the freebie with the slim hope of a TD/onside combo punch.

I would say that stopping them and getting the ball back with a little less then a minute left would give them a better chance then just allowing them to score and then hope to drive it down the field once, recover an onside kick, and then drive down the field again.

Just got back from the game at 1:45 am est. GREAT GAME!Not much to cheer about this year, but this is sweet!Hope the Jags show some guts and win a few more.

Great quotes from Gruden following the loss:"We struggled tremendously,'' Gruden said. :bag: "Obviously [this] hurts our playoff hopes'' Gruden said. :wall: Really?
