He's really starting to show some nice "go-up-n-get-it"

That was a fantastic catch he made. Very impressive
The kid has shown some serious concentration, and big play ability. He has probably had more impressive plays as a receiver this year than any WR in 8 years for this team. It is the Raiders, so that isn't as impressive a statement as one might think, but he looks dang good.

Maybe the most intriguing thing about this guy is the consistent targets over the last two weeks. Gives him a chance to be a consistent factor.

I agree. When I watched him at Clemson, he was in a spread offense that really didn't feature him on much more than underneaths or wide open streak routes so his ability to fight for the ball wasn't that apparent. He looked good at the Senior Bowl, but I really thought he was one of those guys that tried to make a big protest about running about of bounds to avoid contact as if he just lost his balance or track of where he was when he was just avoiding a collision. I downgraded him because I didn't see him display that kind of Steve Smith-Santana Moss ability that he's showing now. I don't know if he'll remain a consistent fantasy starter for the long-term, but he's a player that you add to your roster - no question. I was extremely impressed with him yesterday.

I know it's popular to lump Stevonne and Santana together b/c of their size, but I've never seen Moss make a contested catch like the one above ever. It's truly a rare skill which is why I'm starting to get excited about Jacoby, but then I remember he's a Raider and that tempers my enthusiasm. At least he's cutting into DHB's snaps for now.

This might be a great week to start Jacoby Ford @ home vs Indy in return yardage leagues.

Indy could put up a lot of points which means plenty of kicking duties for Ford.

Plus the Colts are susceptible to the run (Ford had a 71 yd run last week)

and Indy could have a big lead which would call for Ford's deep ball duties.

I know he has been inconsistent, but opportunities is key, and Ford could get a lot of them.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing with Ford this week but I'm not so sure just yet. Return yardage league yes. Other than that he is very risky. He has plenty of upside so it can always pay off. I think he has been rotating good and bad weeks so if he sticks to his schedule (lol) he is not due.

:kicksrock: I am probably going to roll with Ford, as I have lost faith in ADP.

I picked up Ford a couple weeks back and he's been on my bench. This week, he will step into my lineup in favor of Stewart who faces a tough Steelers run defense. Ford just seems to make things happen when he has the ball (D-Jax type skill).
