**Jaguars at Titans** (+4.5, 42.5) 1:00 (1 Viewer)

Last year's end of season game was the least reported bad ref call I can ever remember. Titans should have made the playoffs on a Dobbs pass.

Those Titans would have limped into the playoffs. After a pretty hot start, they lost their last eight games. They replaced the GM and he turned over 45 percent of the roster. Vrabel fired the OC for the passing game being pathetic and promoted his passing game coordinator to OC. (Yep)
Now the OC is expected to get fired and there's a lot of discussion if GM or HC will be.

A playoff game would have been a bright spot and the free fall for the Titans has been brutal.

This is a revenge game!
The Titans can knock the Jags out if they win!

Ummm the Titans will be playing mostly second and third string guys due to the third year in a row having the most injuries in football with two of those years being the most ever. (Another topic but I expect the NFLPA to investigate this in a 'they can't not investigate' type thought. It's too much)

Vrabel n Shane Bowen have done an outstanding job with third stringers on D so there's probably a chance they win but I couldn't doubt it more.

This is about two underperforming teams and both of them better act right during this rivalry game. Each GM is looking for a culprit for the underperforming so don't be the jackal that makes a late hit, does stupid stuff to the crowd, etc.

The Jags are a good young team with signs of being very good most weeks. It doesn't feel like their year at all. Nothing like the vibe of the Texans yesterday.

I expect their coach wants some routine plays done perfectly, a couple deep shots completed for confidence, and the D to get sacks (easy) and maybe an INT. His goal has to be to create some confidence and sound repetitions for the post season. If he gets that, I wouldn't be surprised if many players are pulled.

His goal is to win the game. In an odd turn of events, you say "The Titans can knock the Jags out if they win!" and then go on to say this. The two aren't mutually exclusive, but don't really compute when taken together.

Jags lose and they go home. He's not going to worry about building reps and confidence. He's worried about winning.

Yeah and you're probably right I poorly worded it.
The Titans have to be the least feared come from behind team.
I don't think they'll try and go up by 35 or some gaudy blowout numbers to rub it in a rivals face. 14 may be enough. I think they'll execute some plays he wants done smoothly and then get the starters out.

What's Trevor's status?
Does it matter?
Last walk on the red carpet for The King in Tennessee?
Jags win and in...

Sacksonville- 27
Land of the Titans- 20

Buffalo Bills fans are going to be interested in the rest of this game. If the Jags lose, Bills are IN according to the TV booth.

-And now it's 21-10...oh boy

When the Titans were good they took teams for granted and played down to opponents and made dopey mistakes like they weren't focused.
I don't watch the Jags enough to know but I'm guessing they might be guilty of this

My mindset watching tonight’s game with a Titans win versus a Jags win would be night and day. My blood pressure will average about 50 points lower if the Bills are locked into a playoff spot in a couple of hours.

As a Steelers fan, mine as well. Good luck to both of us!

Jags have really limped their way to the end here. They probably still win but it'll be like 23-21
