He has a pretty decent schedule upcoming and I just traded for him ... Any chance he becomes a serviceable starting FF QB again?

I'm doubting it. I will be dropping him to waivers this week, leaving me with Warner and O'Sullivan. He may have a good game here and there when Smith busts loose, but I just don't think he's very good. I can't put my finger on it, but something is amiss.

I hope he does, and I'm keeping him because of the upcoming schedule you mentioned.

However, I'm also picking up Carson Palmer tomorrow a.m., who had a good day yesterday after a rough start of the season (yes, he was dropped).

I'm 3-0 after having virtually no production whatsoever from the qb spot. I need to get someone there, and now. If I can, I might have a real season working here.

Normally, I'd say this guy has to be kicking himself for that move. But, I'm guessing by just this one piece of information, he's not smart enough to know what appendage performs the kicking motion. Why do these people join our leagues? Don't they have Bingo or Euchre or California Hold'em to waste their time more productively than play FF?

I dunno. I think Delhomme will get things straightened out. If he gets better protection from his O-line, his fumble issues should be minimized.

Good time to buy low on him, IMO.

As an experienced Jake owner, welcome to his world.

He is very inconsistent and always has been on a game to game basis, in turnover leagues look out for bad games because they come in bunches usaully.

When Delhomme and S Smith are both healthy and active they make a formidable combo. Before Jake went down last year he was a top 5 FFB QB. That was probably just a hot streak he was on, but still, he can put up some big numbers. He's got a strong team around him this year. I'm expecting big things from Delhomme.

Let's not forget that he's faced some pretty decent defenses (SD, Chi and Min) and was without his playmaker in the first 2. Twice he's completed a ball to the opponents 1 or 2 yard line. And I believe he has at least 1 long Td pass called back on a penalty.

In the end I believe he'll end up performing right around where I expected 12-15 area. I wasn't expecting much from him the first 3 weeks but unfortunately Schaub has sucked so bad so I'm forced into starting him every week.
