Haven't heard his name out there yet, other than Baltimore lowballing him after they cut him. Any idea if any visits are set up, or any interest from any teams?
"Crennel said the Browns are not ruling out anybody right now, even running back Jamal Lewis, who was released by the Ravens.
"Everybody is on the radar screen," said Crennel. "Even though Reuben [Droughns] is on our team, and he's done a good job for us and we're not looking to replace him. We're looking for competition. We're trying to get the best players and put them on the team."
Jamal Lewis is ready to be a backup. There isn't that much left in the tank. His YPC is terrrible and that was on a team that featured him and a very good D'
No speed left , he should head to KC and backup LJ IMO
I traded this bum last year in my dynasty/keeper hybrid league around week 7 or 8. I got a 2nd and 3rd round rookie pick for him! Im very pleased with that.
Free agent Jamal Lewis and the Ravens "appear willing to agree on a one-year deal," according to the Baltimore Sun.
This is surprising because the sluggish Lewis basically inked a one-year deal last offseason. However, he shouldn't be guaranteed much money and may be banking that he suddenly recovers his long speed in 2007.

so if Lewis signs a one year deal he essentially is admitting he doesn't think he is worthy of any long term deals elsewhere. Baltimore should decide if they want him or not, they are both just delaying their own futures by playing this one year at a time deal. Ahman did it for one year, and he is looking to go longer now, Jamal at 27 should be visiting teams and looking long term. Either Jamal really doesn't care, or he has the worst agent ever, I mean pretend that someone is looking at you to at least pique some interest elsewhere.
