Before everyone starts going bonkers about Chaney potential, a few things.
1. Bradley being cut doesn't necessarily mean he won't be back in Philly.
2. Linebackers drafted after the fourth round, between 2006 – 2010: 119. Of those LB's only 4 players (3%) became a fantasy starter in their 3rd pro season. I only did data for 3rd season players, so sorry I don't have it for sophomore guys.
3. There's a reason Chaney was a 7th round draft pick. One word = TALENT. If he were really that good, chances are he would have been drafted higher. Jamar Chaney PHI: 5 GP, 178 snaps, 285th rated LB by PFF.
I absolutely would draft Chaney in my IDP leagues, but not until my last pick or so. The only way I want to see him on my roster is as my LB#6 with the SLIM chance at him becoming a fantasy factor.
If you draft him, make sure you're not doing it at the expense of proven talent.
