I don't think so.From the articles I have read.......it seems as though the Eagles were eager to get him in before the Bradley injury. He was the fastest linebacker drafted -----"Chaney was a two-time All-SEC performer at Mississippi State, and on his pro scouting day, he tested out as the fastest linebacker eligible for the draft. He clocked a blazing 4.54 in the 40-yard dash"He slipped in the draft a bit and has a chip on his shoulder.I had Stewart and was disappointed with his stats. I felt that on that defense and playin the middle....he should have had better stats.Time for Chaney to BRING IT!!!!!I dont know about you guys but upside in this game is tremendous, the Giants run more than almost any team and Eli is known for throwing ints... Smells like LB 2 maybe lb 1 this week.. Am i wrong!
He's calling the plays so he isn't coming out.http://www.philly.com/inquirer/sports/2010...linebacker.htmlterribly wrong
his upside is Bradley's numbers which weren't great. He's more of a WLB playing in the middle and I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see Gaither playing a bit. He's undersized for a MLB and his future is outside
Anyone counting on some outburst from him is going to be severely disappointed IMO

Damn!!!! I shoulda pulled the trigger.Hes kicking butt with 12 tackles n ffLargeMouthBass said:I actually picked up Ayodele for this week but Chaney seems tempting...
Your Very Welcome! he should be pretty good against Minn next week as well..thank you for this thread![]()
Im starting him next week no doubt perfect timing for my Super Bowl! Another guy that has surprised me is Takeo Spikes have you guys seen his numbers last 5 weeks wow!I watched this entire game today and this guy looked pretty damn awesome. He's fast and he packs plenty of wallop for a small LB. We're gonna need the Guru to weigh in on Dynasty prospects but he looked like an instant upgrade to Bradley.
12 ea. tackles + 4 assists + 1 ea. TFL = studly statusLooked fantastic to me. Flying all over the place. Always seemed to be at the ball.

Anyone know if he blitzed much last week, I'll have to roll with him after that performance but Philly is an assist wasteland and Minny's O looks shaky without Farve or a healthy Peterson but I'm hoping for a big play or 2.I picked him up in 3 leagues last week, started him in 1, 32 points,I'll take it. He will be in all of my line-up's this week. There's another LB on my radar this week, that you might consider picking up, if you haven't done so yet.Arthur Moats BUF LB ® -thoughts?
If he doesn't take Bradley's job and might take Sims'... I'm going to hold onto him during the off-season. As for the championship game, not sure if hes a good option since the Minny offense is so bad right now. This kid a good dynasty stash or is he one of those players who is just putting up good #s because of a short term situation?
Merry Christmas everyone.that was a good callAngerer, Pat IND LB ® @OAK Sun 4:05 p.m. (Rain) 2 23 158.60 11.329Call me crazy if you like, but I sat Beason in 1 league, so I could get Chaney into my starting line-up.
Beason got 8 points on thursday night, I think Chaney will have 16 to 20, I'd take the 32 he got me
last week, but that would be asking for to much, wouldn't it?Merry Christmas everyone.
NFL Gamebook showed him as a DNP. He was active. I took that to be that the good news was that he is important enough to him not to play when they held back almost all their starters. The bad news is that he's not quite important enough to have deactivated him for today like they did with Vick, McCoy, Cole, etc. Probably just couldn't deactivate enough players. Is he even on the field today?
I think that is probably a pretty good guess at what went down. Didn't want to risk him getting hurt, but had deactivated so many others that they couldn't do it with him as well.NFL Gamebook showed him as a DNP. He was active.
