I dont know about you guys but upside in this game is tremendous, the Giants run more than almost any team and Eli is known for throwing ints... Smells like LB 2 maybe lb 1 this week.. Am i wrong!

I don't think so.From the articles I have read.......it seems as though the Eagles were eager to get him in before the Bradley injury. He was the fastest linebacker drafted -----"Chaney was a two-time All-SEC performer at Mississippi State, and on his pro scouting day, he tested out as the fastest linebacker eligible for the draft. He clocked a blazing 4.54 in the 40-yard dash"He slipped in the draft a bit and has a chip on his shoulder.I had Stewart and was disappointed with his stats. I felt that on that defense and playin the middle....he should have had better stats.Time for Chaney to BRING IT!!!!!

its a good match up... wouldn't bench any LB1s for him but a Couple of Middle-level LB2 or 3s can sit for him IMO.

I'm personally benching EJ Henderson and K Brooking for Chanely & Bentley.

terribly wrong

his upside is Bradley's numbers which weren't great. He's more of a WLB playing in the middle and I wouldn't be terribly surprised to see Gaither playing a bit. He's undersized for a MLB and his future is outside

Anyone counting on some outburst from him is going to be severely disappointed IMO

well, its being reported on this site that JC is expected to be the 3 down Backer... I think the eagles seen enough of Gaither

He's calling the plays so he isn't coming out.http://www.philly.com/inquirer/sports/2010...linebacker.html

Not to mention Bradley is a pretty average MLB talent wise.

I watched this entire game today and this guy looked pretty damn awesome. He's fast and he packs plenty of wallop for a small LB. We're gonna need the Guru to weigh in on Dynasty prospects but he looked like an instant upgrade to Bradley.

Im starting him next week no doubt perfect timing for my Super Bowl! Another guy that has surprised me is Takeo Spikes have you guys seen his numbers last 5 weeks wow!

Wish I'd taken the chance last week. Just hoping my league mates are asleep so I can somehow pick him up this week anyway - if he'd stopped at about 10 tackles, I might have been a shot!

I grabbed this guy in my main dynasty league last week before he exploded, so I'm pleased with that.

Long term, Chaney has a chance to take over the reigns at MLB. It may not be straight away, but Bradley's injury history has to be a huge concern for the Eagles management.

Totally wrong on that one

He looked good, still not sure if he'll play inside or they move him to an OLB spot but he looks like a keeper

I think the main take away here is Stewart Bradley is not very good. He has seemed a bit better after heeling from his injury but I want no part of him next year as he puts up decent numbers till he gets hurt again.

I picked him up in 3 leagues last week, started him in 1, 32 points,I'll take it. He will be in all of my line-up's this week. :-)

There's another LB on my radar this week, that you might consider picking up, if you haven't done so yet.

Arthur Moats BUF LB ® -thoughts?

Anyone know if he blitzed much last week, I'll have to roll with him after that performance but Philly is an assist wasteland and Minny's O looks shaky without Farve or a healthy Peterson but I'm hoping for a big play or 2.

This kid a good dynasty stash or is he one of those players who is just putting up good #s because of a short term situation?

If he doesn't take Bradley's job and might take Sims'... I'm going to hold onto him during the off-season. As for the championship game, not sure if hes a good option since the Minny offense is so bad right now.

I myself like Desmond Bishop of the Packers. With both Jacobs and Bradshaw pounding the ball right now, I believe Bishop is comparable and more likely to post better tackle numbers.

The difference maker for me I guess is the TE targets.

"Benching him in all leagues" needs to be quantified...after what I saw last weekend I'd say you have to start him unless you have obvious upgrades. I'm benching some pretty good LBs in favor of him this week. He just looked too good not to start. If the vikings run 15 run plays I bet this guy makes 5 tackles which I see as his absolute floor. Good luck with your decisions.....go get that championship

Call me crazy if you like, but I sat Beason in 1 league, so I could get Chaney into my starting line-up.

Beason got 8 points on thursday night, I think Chaney will have 16 to 20, I'd take the 32 he got me

last week, but that would be asking for to much, wouldn't it? Merry Christmas everyone.

Levy, DeAndre DET LB @MIA Sun 1:00 p.m. (Partly Cloudy) 21 17 125.00 13.889 17 hours

I'm def starting Bishop / Hawthorne / Henderson ... then I have to decide 1 of Chaney, Burnett and Levy; right now I have Levy due to Tackle opps

Your defense looks kinda like mine. I'm going with Levy over Chaney this week. I really don't think Chaney's gonna have opportunity like he did against the Giants...

Is he even on the field today?
NFL Gamebook showed him as a DNP. He was active. I took that to be that the good news was that he is important enough to him not to play when they held back almost all their starters. The bad news is that he's not quite important enough to have deactivated him for today like they did with Vick, McCoy, Cole, etc. Probably just couldn't deactivate enough players.

I think that is probably a pretty good guess at what went down. Didn't want to risk him getting hurt, but had deactivated so many others that they couldn't do it with him as well.
