James and Jacoby Jones (1 Viewer)

Jacoby fell off the radar a bit but, he's been AFC ST player of the week a couple times. Will that earn him more playing time at WR eventually? Or do you think Andre, Kevin, and Andre Davis(when healthy) are pretty much set so Jacoby is stuck on ST?

James Jones was healthy enough to play last week and wasn't activated(active roster) by the coach. The Coach chose a player that plays ST over James. That sure sounds like James has rrrrrrreally fallen down the depth chart.

Thoughts on these 2 Jones'?

maybe next year for jacoby

they've got andre and walter.

david anderson though is emerging as a trusthworthy wr along with andre davis who makes the occasional big play.

James Jones will be fine as a WR. He will see playing time now that he is fully healthy, Packers have different packages that use different WRs so he will see the field and keep developing.

david anderson needs to be the slot receiver. i wasn't a big fan of the davis re-signing and i don't see a spot on the team for him next year.

can you expand upon this some? it seems sugar-coated being that short.Clearly McCarthy didn't feel that way 8 days ago. Today he only had 5 rec yards.IMO(haven't looked at depth chart) Jordy is 3rd which I considerred Jones' spot.I have Jones in a few leagues. I'm seriously thinking of cutting bait or thinking of holding onto him as the Pack might deal him(good value) in the offseason. 4th WR doesn't generally get much production. Ruvell can get 4th WR type production and play ST. I had far higher hopes for James Jones. So...convince me I'm wrong here and the Pack still have big plans for him.ETA and the notion of Driver's career winding down was pretty much obliterated with his 175 yard effort two weeks ago.
