I think one of these guys has a break out season, and ends up starting by week 5. But which one?

Reminds me of when Ryan Grant broke out in Green Bay. I like Scott a lot. Talent-wise I think these guys both have a chance. But I think Opportunity is better for Scott.

I went with neither since I think that's the most likely scenario.

If I was going to select one of those two guys though, it would be Bernard Scott. He seems to be the more talented of the two (and maybe by quite a bit) so if he would likely put up better numbers as a starter then James Davis. Even if Davis beat out Jamal Lewis and Jerome Harrison, I'm not sure he'd put numbers any better then somebody such as Julius Jones. If Scott actually won the starting position for the Bengals, I could see him putting up 2nd or 3rd round fantasy numbers.

I voted Davis because as much as people may not like Mangini, he did help T Jones become the Conference leader in yards last year. Not comparing the two RBs per se, but if Lewis slows down, davis is going to get the ball a lot (I just don't think Harrison will be much of an obstacle).

No, that would be Favre who helped T Jones last year.

What, opposing teams couldn't stack the box for fear of missing another interception opportunity when Favre chucks a jump ball in the air?

Scott is easily the more talented RB, IMO. They may take it slow with him this season, but I believe Scott will be their feature back in 2010.

I just can see where Scott will force his way on the field, though he does have to stop fumbling for sure.

The flip side of this question is which team is going to run more. With the array of receivers the Bengals have you would think that would means the Browns rush more but my sense is that the Bengals D will keep them in more games (they'll try to win low-scoring style) and this is to Scott's benefit.
