I apologize if this has been posted prior, I didn't see it on first glance.



I started James last week. I did some research saturday but didn't see anything about James holding a clipboard for the game... soooo is Edge going to be on teh sidelines again or will he split carries with Hightower?

I doubt James sees the field for the rst of the year much, unless Hightower gets injured, or breaks off a 50 yard run and needs a breather for 1 play.

They just said on ESPN that Hightower got the game ball last week, and he gave it to Edge.

I doubt Edge will be nailed to the pine for the rest of the year and will see action.

I drafted him in two leagues and have since dropped him - no one has picked him up, if that is any indication for you as to his current value.

Not trying to be a smart ### but you may want to subscribe to FBGs and read the forums. FBGs had Hightower in the week 10 cheatsheats with 22 carries and Edge with 3. I am sure there were quotes in a thread that Hightower was going to start. It was pretty clear before Saturday that Hightower was starting and Edge wouldn't do much unless Hightower blew (which is hard to do against St. Louis).

The question as I see it is if Edge will be able to find work beyond this year. The reason Hightower is in there is due to Edge inability to break the long run during his tenure at AZ.......something folks have argued that was already known by Indy and the reason they did not offer him a contract.

Given that so many young RBs enter the league each year that would have bigger upside and cost less, I doubt he finds work. He'll be the next Shaun Alexander or Rudi Johnson type at best.
