Drafted two redraft leagues thus far, he went undrafted in both. Anyone else seeing this? Seems like he'd at least have wr4-5 value as a floor with decent upside. Had 800+ yards in GB as the no 2-3 option most of the year. #1 option in Oakland this year. Seems like 950-1050 with 7-9 tds is a reasonable expectation.

He is being criminally undervalued this year. It's a mistake. Jones is a baller. I expect high end wr3 to mid tier wr2 numbers from him all season.

Drafted him in a very late round.

In one league I was holding Gordon (short bench) and in the other there was crazy value elsewhere. Thinking of dropping Austin for him.

I'm just not really paying attention to any OAK receiving threats to be honest. Jones is on the wrong side of 30 and has never topped 1,000 yards once despite being thrown to by one of the leagues best QBs for his entire career. Rodgers also has the tendency of inflating his WR's catch efficiency, especially when it comes to TDs (Jordy in 2011, Jones in 2012). I'm willing to bet it's much better to be the #3 in GB than the #1 in OAK, those projections just seem unrealistic IMO. I've never been sold on Jones anyway, I'd rather have Streater.

Jones never really jumped off the page to me during fantasy drafts. Between his age and the unsettled QB situation, I always found more appealing options.

Not surprising after Crabtree and Amari, but...

Raiders released WR James Jones.
Jones became redundant when the Raiders signed Michael Crabtree, a younger player with similar skills. Jones became expendable when the Raiders drafted Amari Cooper. 31 years old, Jones led Oakland in receptions (73) last season, but averaged a pathetic 9.12 yards per catch. He was a sub-pedestrian slot receiver and has never been an efficient separator on the perimeter. We wouldn't be shocked if Jones has played his last NFL down.
