In my deep 14-team .5ppr league, just took a flier on him. I recall there was a ton of Pool buzz about this guy as a rookie, but it faded about as fast as Jacoby's ...

Now that he is healthy, how big a role will he have in the GB offense? I'm banking that he could potentially be a 2006 Chris Henry, i.e. a prolific third wheel in a high octane passing attack.

Plus, I think if a starter gets hurt, he then has great value as a WR2. Seems to me the perfect scenario for a last-WR-on-your-roster guy: will put up some points in a spot start, but has the upside to produce good numbers if there is an injury.

Any GB homers can offer insight?

Green Bay does play a lot of multiple WR sets, so even as the team's #3 WR, Jones is worthy of a roster spot and the occasional FF WR #3/flex start. Green Bay also does a lot of WR rotaions so you will see Jones out there in 2 WR sets at times. In McCarthy's offense, Jones could see an equal number of targets as some other team's #2 WRs (8 targets in week 2, Jennings 10, Driver 8). He'd definitely get a bump if Driver or Jennings should ever miss time to injury, and I don't see Nelson or Martin overtaking him in that #3 role.

I'm a huge Jones fan. He's my favorite WR on the team. I just love his physical style of play and his willingness to run any route. He reminds me a lot of Anquan Boldin, and if given the opportunity I honestly believe he could put up huge numbers. He still misses a couple of catches he should be making, but him and Rodgers spent a lot of time together during the offseason so they are definitely on the same page.

I've always like him. Have a waiver claim in, cutting bait on Reggie Williams.

As I recall from last year, if you could pick your matchups, he was good option to have.

With Grant hobbling, I think the Packers will have to throw a ton to beat the Cowboys Sunday night. We saw all of the damage McNabb did Monday night. I think Rodgers could have similar success. I think Jones is worth a look as a sleeper WR3 (if he's your WR4 all the better).

Jones is a great keeper pick - He is Drivers replacement in 2-3 years, or when Driver slows down.

Having said that, he is definitely behind both Jennings and Driver right now.

Personally, I think that Jordy Nelson might end up with more catches in their careers - seems to have better hands, although perhaps not the toughness of Jones.
