James Sanders (1 Viewer)

(KFFL) Mike Reiss, of the Boston Globe, reports New England Patriots SS James Sanders has been elevated into the top group of safeties, according to head coach Bill Belichick. "I think we're at the point now that whichever two of those three [players] are in there together, all the communication is pretty good," Belichick said. Sanders will likely see time in place of safeties Rodney Harrison and Eugene Wilson this season.

I should have posted that but I am not sure if I can post it. it is not a pay site and I am sure that it is ok.

KFFL posts are fine, with the usual disclaimer (N/A in this case) that you should check all "analysis" with the original source.

Sanders didn't have any value when he started as the SS. He's unlikely to generate much value in rotation unless you're in a very deep league. If Samuel resigns and Meriweather can get more snaps at safety, Sanders will have still less value. Interesting news for those counting on Harrison, though, if Belichick truly is limiting his snaps in addition to Wilson's.

If Harrison were to go down, I bet we'll be watching Merriweather rather than James Sanders. That's just my speculation
