Agreed and to a larger point for anyone that has not heard this before. A lot of the time you find guys that put up stats in the preseason and are actually cut by the end of camp. Not suggesting that in this instance with Harper but Ringer is out at the moment. Ringer has looked good in limited touches his 1st couple years. Ringer as a Senior carried it some ungawdly amount like 375-390+ IIRC...he can carry a load when asked to. Harper is a good dynasty prospect but again once CJ signs and he will eventually, the market on both of these guys dries up instantly.

Shouldn't be discounted, but I doubt it will lead to him leap frogging Ringer or anything like that. Maybe it gives Titans more leverage. If Chris is being that greedy, I'd just tell him to go screw himself and roll with Harper & Ringer until he buckled

Even if Johnson does eventually sign I'd still have to consider drafting Ringer for potential upside... guys that miss camp like that always seem to get hurt.

I watched him at Clemson and he was a huge disappointment. He "earned" the nickname "the dancing bear" because he thought he was a speed back and would never hit the hole with authority.

Not when they are performing well. And after the Blount screw up, you can pretty much guarantee this guy is on the team week 1.

Drafted him as Mr. Irrelevant (last pick of my rookie dynasty draft).

Hope he pans out. I think this is the year even if Johnson plays, his head ticking or convulsions will cause him to get injured and lose significant time lol
