Jared Allen angry?
He's not an angry person, not sure if you seen hard knocks, but he seems like a nice guy, kind of a goofball but not in a bad way at all. I wouldn't expect "angry" out of him.

He should start and be his normal studly self, he was with the Chiefs all through camp.

I'd be a little cautious about starting him in his first week back. I have to believe his snaps will be somewhat limited until he gets in football shape. If you have a decent option, I'd consider leaving Allen on the bench.

He played the entire preseason/camp and has sat out two weeks. While he won't have his normal stamina the team needs his energy and drive, Edwards will play him for as long as he can. I've got him on my team and am starting him with confidence. At worst he shouldn't do any worse than the guys I've started in his place and he has far more upside.
You might even argue that he will be in better shape. As you said, he played all preseason and camp and has a had a couple of weeks off to rest up.Nobody benches a guy after his bye week because he got out of shape - we are only talking another week in this case.

He had flown under everyone's radar in my league, in spite of the fact that he was our #2 DL last year. Sure glad he did, because I was able to snag him this week. He was a beast today, and probably will be the rest of the year.

Jared Allen and Trent Cole were absolute beasts this week..and may have helped me beat this guy in our league who can only be considered a bona fide genius.Call me a sucker, but Allen is in the lineup for me this week.
He had flown under everyone's radar in my league, in spite of the fact that he was our #2 DL last year. Sure glad he did, because I was able to snag him this week. He was a beast today, and probably will be the rest of the year.

Allen was just as important to his team this week as he was to fantasy players.
I saw an interview with him after the show, he looked like a very driven man. Talking about how he is out to make the OL respect him when the game is over and how he is competing with everyone on that defense to get the job done. I don't expect these numbers each week obviously but I could see him doing better than his previous numbers, even without two games of playing time. Probably combine tackles from last year and sacks the previous year.
