Jarvis Green (1 Viewer)

Miami Style

Footballguy
Anyone have any thoughts on this guy? He had a good game last week with 3 sacks, but NE did play 4-3 for most of the game. Do you think NE will do the same this week against MIA? If so, Green could have another big day since MIA does give up alot of sacks.

Even here in New England, nobody ever knows which front set Belichick will use.

Two ares of concern for the Pats entering the year were WR and LB. As Brady and his wideouts get more comfortable, the whole offense will click better as pressure on the running game lessens because of a viable pass attack, which in turn gives Dillon and Maroney more room to run. (Very sweet for us NE fans).

The same can be said for the LB's. As Seau and other LB's start to gel more, one could expect the D to move from the 4-3 back to Belichick's preferred alignment, the 3-4. As that becomes more the team's norm, Green will spend more time on the bench or as a backup in a rotation.

My personal opinion is that it was a marvelous week for Green who is a very solid backup, but short of an injury to Warren, Wilfork or Seymour, not somebody to rely on in any particular week going forward. Sorry.
