In CB required leagues, this might be a nice pickup.

Dolphins | J. Allen expected to start at free safety

Mon, 22 Oct 2007 19:54:36 -0700

Omar Kelly, of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, reports Miami Dolphins FS Jason Allen is expected to start at free safety in place of FS Renaldo Hill (knee).

this was on the NEWS page.

will he be playing FS or SS ?

Dolphins S Allen To Assume Starting Strong Safety Job

Harvey Fialkov, South Florida Sun-Sentinel

Miami Dolphins safety Jason Allen will start at the strong safety position for the team in place of Renaldo Hill, who suffered a season-ending injury during the team's Week 7 game.

Hill was playing SS.. so I think that's what Allen will be playing. I picked him up in a CB required league.

Jason Allen is one of the worst DB's in the entire league. IMO he isn't good enough to be in the NFL let alone start. Stay away. Far away.

Dolphins Sign Free Agent S Schulters

Jeff Darlington, Miami Herald - [Full Article]

The Miami Dolphins announced on Tuesday that they have signed free agent safety Lance Schulters to a contract. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Will these personnel changes impact Cameron Worrell? Will Schulters be a starter, who would he replace?

To answer my own question:

Dolphins coach Cam Cameron said Schulters, 32, will be in the rotation of safeties, now led by Cameron Worrell and new starter Jason Allen,

Schulters, in his 10th NFL season, practiced with the scout team Wednesday in a numberless jersey.

Schulters returns to shore up secondary

I didn't see the game.. but i'll take 5 tackles and a forced fumble from my CB everyweek. How did he look?

I thought he looked really good, he was a ball hawk. He was near the tackle almost on every play. The sloppy field may have helped but in general I see him finishing the season as a starter.
