Jason Elam (left hip) (1 Viewer)

The biggest problem here is that it's a 4:00 Eastern game, so the options are limited if this is halfway serious.

Anyone with word on this?

Elam Listed On Injury Report, Expected To Play

By J. Michael Moore, DenverBroncos.com

(CBS4/DenverBroncos.com) ENGLEWOOD, Colo. Jason Elam (left hip) and defensive tackle Demetrin Veal (calf) were added to the injury report Thursday afternoon as probable for Sunday's game.

Elam hasn't missed a complete game since 2000 when he broke a bone in his lower back. The Broncos brought in Joe Nedney to handle kicking duties for that stretch.

Elam missed part of a game in 2003, where Micah Knorr took over placekicking duties.

:wall: I hate kickers.

My two best leagues banned them. We should all do the same.

Anyway, this is looking up.

In other injury news, Head Coach Mike Shanahan said that placekicker Jason Elam -- who was added to the injury report on Thursday with a left hip injury -- was not limited in practice on Friday and would be able to kick if the game were played that day

Don't sweat Elam at all. Unless he's questionable or doubtful, he's going to play. Last season (or maybe the season before?) he actually pulled a hamstring IN-GAME, and he just altered his kicking approach and kept kicking (making at least one more FG that game and not missing any time en route to finishing in the top 10 again).Unless something's torn or broken, Elam's finishing this season in the top 10. It's one of the few near-certainties when it comes to fantasy kickers.

I was wondering what was up with him too. He just got dropped on waivers in one of my leagues to my surprise. I thought maybe there was more to this when I saw that. I have Feeley as my kicker in that league and am deciding whether to stay with him or grab Elam.
