What do guys think of Gracia over the next few weeks.

Long story short...I have Rivers, had Grossman, nothing on the wire and not much depth to trade. This might be the best guy I can get.

He has some decent matchups coming up, and with Caddy out TB may have to throw more. On the flipside, with Caddy out teams can focus on shutting down the pass.

He's limiting his mistakes and TB is utilizing their run game which is return opening up the passing game.

Most teams that went late on QB should be solid enough elsewhere to put up with QB15-20 type production. He's a decent play at this point in the season.

I too will be grabbing Garcia, and the above mention comments worry me. I think he is managing the game, not leading the charge. That is not a bad thing for an NFl QB. It is a cause for concern with a FF QB. We don't need our guys to wing their games, we need them to win our games. 425yrds, 3 TD's and the Bucs lose, so what, who cares?

Me too. Not great, but certainly serviceable.

Right now the Bucs defense is hurting Garcia a bit... They have had games in hand and have not had to pass alot in the second half of games... He has still put up solid numbers...

I expect his numbers to go up in more competitive games.

I don't know about your league scoring, but Garcia's been pretty good in my league...

"pretty good"? He's behind Harrington (crappy 1st 2 games), David Garrard (BYE week), and Trent Green... He's got 2 TDs in 4 games and has scored less than 10 FF pts in two of those games...

He's averaging 7 pts/game in my league. (1 pt per 50 yds, 4 pts for TD, -2 for INT or fumble). Ugggh, I have to start him this week as McNabb is on bye. Given McNabb just scored me a GOOSE EGG maybe it's not such a bad thing. I'm really hoping for at least a 10. Hopefully it's a shoot out with them Colts. I was surprised to find out that Garcia hasn't thrown a pick or put it on the turf yet. Ooops, there it goes, I just jinxed him.

I don't know about your league scoring, but Garcia's been pretty good in my league...

What is your scoring system that a QB averaging 193 yards and 0.5 TDs passing, 0.25 TDs rushing and 5.5 rushing yards is doing "pretty good"? Garcia has helped the Bucs to their best start by not making mistakes (0 INTs). He hasn't been good fantasy wise though and only has 20-25 attempts per game.That being said, I am sure he will finsih the year as top 20 with a few decent games and no real goose eggs.

He is currently 15 in my 2qb league... -2 for picks and fumbles... FWIW... Not a bad start at all.
