What a bad read by your staff, (May 1 email) hopefully guys in my 2 dynasty groups will side with you (a reach) on the Falcons 3rd round 79th pick. Oher "experts" including NFL GM insider reknown Rich Gosselin had him ranked 69th overall. The guy did nothing special huh? Average over 5 yards rushing for a team in the SEC with just 3 wins in 2 years? Speed EQUAL to Bush in the 40. Good body size, character and aptitiude. The Falcons Alex Gibbs zone blocking allows this guy to take over for Dunn in a year or two and excel.

Hopefully I can pick him up after the flash players are grabbed.

you mean you disagree with it, not that it's "wrong"

Norwood's a bum.  He's built like a WR.  Nothing to see here.

:bye:

6 foot - 208 to 211 a WR? Are you looking at the same draft?
<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
4 feet of those 6 feet are legs.pic

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
good pichas the rep for breaking arm tackles with ease

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Not really. He tends to go down pretty easy from what I remember. Which is why I think Atlanta is a good fit for him. He's good when he has a crease.

If he was at a program with more talent at RB I bet he would have been moved to WR.  This is common to do.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Possibly, but he was a 5 star RB recruit in high school and ranked 3rd in the country behind Fason and Riggs, shown here.I always figured he was a WR in high school and moved to RB at Miss St out of necessity.

this is funny thanksI guess you don't want Joe+co to offer their opinions

So where does he go in a dynasty performance scoring league?

2nd round late first???

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Going to the best rushing team in the league (okay that's a little inflated, but it is the denver system), they were trying to unload Duckett trade weekend, and Dunn is just about done.I'd say pick 12-14.

^^ just grabbed him at the 2.02 spot. really there is nothing left at that point, i mean all of the 1st tiers are gone(QBs, RBs,and davis) so i looked at the situation and i like him better than drew or calhoun.

He played QB,RB,WR,KR,PR, and DB in HS.

I was living in Jackson, MS when Norwood was playing HS ball for nearby Northwest Rankin. Dude was like Michael Vick and Marshall Faulk combined in HS ... except he stayed at RB for his senior season.Norwood's raw ability is outstanding ... easily NFL level. If his listed weight is correct, he's a little slight, but not too slight -- about the same as when Clinton Portis and Marshall Faulk were rookies. He'll put on 10-15 lbs in the pros and hang just fine. All he needs is some seasoning, and then opportunity.

On the contrary, that's why we are here isn't it? However, he was not a "reach"- he actually slid a little, and he did have special numbers both in college production and in measurables at the combine and at workouts. The whole point of FF is to get/ draft a player with more value potential later than your opponenets. I don't have the first pick (Bush) in our draft next week. I am thinking about trading down a couple of slots to the first pick of the second to snag someone like Norwood.
