Jerome Harrison - Week 13 Projection (1 Viewer)

David or other FBGs,

I'm curious how Jerome Harrison was not listed in the offense projections this week. Seems like a pretty big oversight to me. Thanks for your time.

He was listed, just not expected to get any carries. Mangini is such a nutcase it would be possible, but I agree it wasn't likely.

(bump)

the guy got 17 touches for 97 yards and two scores. rotoworld reported that he was listed as the starter on the team's web site during the week. am i being too demanding to have expected a better forecast here?

You are criticizing someone's ability to predict the future. In other words you expected them to read Mangini's mind better. Have fun with that.FBG's is a source of info, not a crystal ball. This is a game of luck.

yes, i am criticizing FBGs ability to predict the future. i expect them to have predicted the browns running back situation better than they did this week. not perfectly, by any means, but better than they did here. that's what we're paying them for, right?i agree that FBGs is a source of information, not a crystal ball. but if the game were only luck, you wouldn't pay them to make projections.the browns have two running backs on their active roster, harrison and chris jennings. they also have a fullback, lawrence vickers.chris jennings was an undrafted rookie with 20 career NFL carries (coming into this past week). lawrence vickers has 28 career carries in four NFL seasons, including 0 this year. harrison was listed as the starter on the team's official web site leading up to the game.is it really your best projection that jerome harrison is going to get ZERO carries given these circumstances? it's one thing to project him for 10 carries and 35 yards, for example. at least with that projection the FBGs users can be aware that he's likely to see some touches and might be worth looking at. but with what we got here, we're better off just doing the work on our own.

So you knew he was starting and the other two options had under 30 career carries each and you couldn't project anything yourself?

I agree that it's silly that Harrison was projected to get zero carries, but the situation hasn't exactly been clear:Week 8 Jennings 0 carries, Harrison 5Week 9 byeWeek 10 Jennings 7 Harrison 0Week 11 Jennings 10 Harrison 4Week 12 Jennings 2 (shoulder injury) Harrison 3Jennings: Increasing amount of practice reps since the bye.Harrison: Publicly in doghouse. Regardless, just as an aside, I think we're always better doing the work on our own and taking projections with a grain of salt.

i couldn't agree more. anyone who blindly follows one set of projections without being aware of what is going on is being foolish. but personally i don't see this kind of oversight as a "grain of salt" kind of error. FBGs just dropped the ball on this one.
