It is funny for me b/c I spent some time on the shore the first summer I lived in NYC. Anyone in the NYC area in the summer should go to Belmar and Seaside Heights just for the culture.

MEH....maybe for a night just to see that these ppl actually exist, but there are many towns on the shore that are nothing like Belmar and Seaside Heights. Even for the Jersey shore, those places are outrageous.

I watched the first episode of this just to see. That's probably all I'll watch. Not that it was horrible, just not my thing, I never got into any of this Real World crap.

The guys seem pretty normal. That guy Vinny is just a regular Staten Island kid. The rest are roided up guidos but none of them seem too douchey beyond that. I mean, they're douches don't get me wrong, but not much douchier than the national average. I could drink with those guys.

The chicks are awful. I'm not sure they're any worse personality-wise than any other reality TV bimbo idiots, but they look like ####. That Snickers is downright repulsive.

I don't know what all the hubbub's about with advertisers pulling out and all that. Domino's must hate Italian-American kids.

The whole thing reminds me of Dave Chappelle's "Mad Real World" sketch where he threw together a bunch of ghetto personalities and then one corn-fed white guy. MTV decided to throw a specific stereotype of Itlalian in a house together. What would happen if they did what Chappelle wrote as a joke?

Wow, i call total b.s. on MTV for this show tonight. I am not a loyal follower, but i was intrigued to see a guy really punch a girl. I didn't think it was possible that some dude could be that much of a dueche, but judging by the previews it was. So i spent an hour of my life watching the show to see it, and the Mother F'ers at MTV black out the screen when she gets hit. Ugh, what a crappy move, and i hope they feel they are morally correct now because they didn't show it, but previewed it 50 times on MTV this week. .

(no underwear, and we all caught multiple glimpses) they were basically dryhumping eachother on the dance floor for 2 hours. Every other girl in the place hated them.
