I'm a Bronco fan who never had a problem with Tebow the person, his 58 minutes of sucky boring football play got old, but the 2 minutes at the end was always exciting. It sucks that the Tebowmaniacs gave him all the credit when it was the defense, or Prater, or Marion Barber, etc who deserved more credit for most of those wins than Tebow himself. What was annoying is that you couldn't say that the Tebow fans, they weren't having any of it, their savior did it all, it was unbearable. I'm glad the circus has left Denver for the greener pastures of NYC. Good luck Timmmy!
You guys are too nice out there in Denver. Most fans around here will just tell Tebow fans to f off. What was annoying is that you couldn't say that [to] the Tebow fans, they weren't having any of it, their savior did it all...
And those fans would tell you to "have a blessed day" The f off wouldn't sink in - wait till you actually live it - it is weird. You guys are too nice out there in Denver. There was a time it was a bit like that here in Denver you could get away with that attitude - UNTIL he won a game - IN THE LAST SECONDS - you don't understand it WAS A MIRACLE!After that happens it is bizzaro world - you did see the Broncos v Jets on Thursday night last year right? DIVINE INTERVENTION!As a Jets fan, I can say that the media coverage of Tebow is pretty annoying, but I really avoid most pre/post-game coverage anyway. He seems like a good guy, but lousy qb. No Jets fan I know even considers him to be a threat to be the full-time QB although we might all be in for a surprise. When people ask me about Tebow, I usually reply "I don't". That usually ends the discussion. If it's someone that I respect, I'll say, "I don't see him as a full-time QB, but he might have some use on short third down plays or inside the five yard line". I don't know, I guess I don't feel caught up in all the vitriol.
I'm not a religious guy. I just blamed our slow linebackers and useless Eric Smith. Most of the tebowners are long gone with faint hope of a revival in NY in which they will flood in swinging from The Tebowner himself. They were totally entertaining while here with their total lack of NFL football knowledge.I'm a Bronco fan who never had a problem with Tebow the person, his 58 minutes of sucky boring football play got old, but the 2 minutes at the end was always exciting. Exactly. "Everyone hates on Timmy because he's a Christian!!!". Nah, he just sucks. There's lots of Christians playing professional sports that I admire. Timmy just milks it and Joe Simpletons eat it up.After being taken in the first round in a ridiculous move by the Broncos Timmy states, "I want to thank all of my critics for inspiring me to work hard!!!". Really, moron? Without people saying you won't make it as an NFL QB you wouldn't have worked hard? Instead of thanking "the critics" thank the Broncos for being idiots. Maybe THAT was the divine intervention. After that comment, Tim Ryan on Sirius NFL Radio said, "Someone needs to tell that guy to shut up. He's supposed to be a pro now; no one wants to hear that crap." I couldn't agree more. And those fans would tell you to "have a blessed day" The f off wouldn't sink in - wait till you actually live it - it is weird. You guys are too nice out there in Denver. Im gonna need details id wager MJD even has a faster release.ESPN Sports Science just did a segment on how Tebow is more effective than a running back, even mentioned beating out MJD on some time trial.
