Too bad for Cedric Houston. Just when he was looking like he could be the closest thing the Jets have to a feature back.

But if the MRI comes back with him missing weeks if not the season, and with Derrick Blaylock sucking, how does everybody see the Jets thunder-and-lightning combo of Barlow-and-Washington?

Who would be the more valuable guy to have?

Barlow by far. He has more FPs than Corey Dillon, DeShaun Foster, Tiki Barber, Reggie Bush, Shaun Alexander, Jamal Lewis and Tatum Bell.

I think Barlow has the most value right now but I like Washington's upside. I was watching this game closely and I thought Washington ran very will yesterday. Hopefully the Jets give him more carries in the upcoming weeks. After Cedric Houston went down yesterday, the Jets gave Washington a real chance. He ran with power and vision and led the Jets down the field on their way to a scoring drive. However, Barlow replaced him at the goal line and I think he will continue to do so going forward.

Another twist will be the return of Curtis Martin this month.

So Barlow as the main guy with Leon as the traditional change of pace? They fall behind by 10 or more pts. in the second half and Leon gets the bulk?

People on this board had me thinking Leon was beyond a sctaback role player.

Leon definitely looks like the guy in passing situations. But, Barlow ran pretty well yesterday and will most likely remain the starter and definitely the short yardage back at least for a while.

A lot of people were looking for Leon to break out this week and claim a larger role. While I think he had some success in doing so, Barlow also had a good game. For that matter, Houston was looking pretty darn good to.

IMO, Leon has more value with Houston out. But, when/if he can play this turns back into a three headed monster.

Any homers know when Martin is suppose to come back?

I believe he's able to return after week six... Oct. 16th

Four TDs in four games is making Barlow look like a pretty damn good value pick so far.
