Nice.So sorry to hear this. On a positive note this means she wont be on Stern next week.
Wait, she was having "surgery" at a "doctor's" office?Joan Rivers was reportedly hospitalized on Thursday after she stopped breathing during throat surgery at a New York City doctor's office
if you stop posting.Did she stop talking too?Stopped breathing :(
Joan: "Do you know how many #######s I had to give to get where I am?"
Louis: "forty?"

All she needs is some fresh hay, maybe a carrot once in a while. Now who is going to support Melissa? :(
Sad. She was a legend. Sadly, I don't even remember what she used to look like before all of the surgery. Why do women think that looks good?Apparently she has passed. RIP.
Ugh. So sad. Iconic figure in comedy. Big loss.Apparently she has passed. RIP.
I don't think a plastic looking mold looks good at all. I can see maybe a little botox here and there as you get up there, but surgery is plain stupid even if you are rich.Sad. She was a legend. Have you considered a career in photography? Here's my "paparazzi" photo I took of her http://imgur.com/d9aY8VI at opening night of The Realistic Joneses
I told everyone she was drunk.

She was Carson's regular guest host for a while and was very good in the role. Whether you liked her schtick or not, she had an extremely sharp and quick wit so was very well suited for the Tonight Show format. Her own late night show on Fox was a commerical flop but so was every other attempt Fox made at carving out a late night niche.I forget which two comedians it was, but I recall listening to a podcast where two older comedians were saying that when Joan Rivers was filling in for Carson on The Tonight Show (and Carson was sort of mailing in some episodes because he had already been hosting for so long), Rivers was the better Tonight Show host during that period.
I think it was that failed show that wrecked her career for a while. Nobody would return her calls and she got really depressed, considered suicide. Finally started over, did cheap standup gigs and eventually got the job with E!.She was Carson's regular guest host for a while and was very good in the role. Sad to see her go. She was a bridge from another era of comedy.
You must be like Tannerold ®Aw, man, RIP. Joan Rivers was funny as anything. I liked her even as a kid. Bless her.
I know I wrote that ambiguously and incorrectly, but what is Tannerold? You must be like Tannerold ®Aw, man, RIP. Joan Rivers was funny as anything. I liked her even as a kid. Bless her.
She looks terrible in that picture. We should have seen this day coming. :(Here's my "paparazzi" photo I took of her http://imgur.com/d9aY8VI at opening night of The Realistic Joneses

Yeah, when she got banned from the Tonight Show and her show died, she was screwed. Then her husband committed suicide. Which of course led to her most cringeworthy awesome joke ever.I think it was that failed show that wrecked her career for a while. Once you hit 80 showbiz options can be limited. They no longer make shows like The Love Boat. She was Carson's regular guest host for a while and was very good in the role. Sad to see her go. She was a bridge from another era of comedy.I always loved her stand up routine, especially when she threw in those OH! OH!s in there. I felt her red carpet snarkfest with her daughter was beneath her comedically.
A pioneer for women in comedy, no doubt.
I know. To me, it was cool to see her still be relevant; I just thought dumping on what people wear is too easy.Once you hit 80 showbiz options can be limited. When she took the Fox gig Johnny was pissed. He never spoke to her again and she was banned while he was the host. Please to elaborate?Yeah, when she got banned from the Tonight Show and her show died, she was screwed.
