Joe Bryant, HOF (1 Viewer)

Surprised it took until the 6th class. Would have been nice if he went in with Dodds. Regardless, well deserved.

Congratulations Joe!

Have been a Football Guy for the past 9 years and would not consider playing fantasy football without this website!

I am surprised Terry "TC" Cannon isn't in there. Hasn't he offered youth leagues for many years along with analysis drafting and such ?

btw, how is TC doing ? I remember him having serious heart issues some years ago.

Besides Kellogg, Dodds, and Bryant, who are the guys in the HOF primarily into football in the early days?
Fabiano is not an early days guy

KFFL boys

Emil for mags

Engel, Berry ya know

Dan and not Kelly Grogan is odd, brothers did all together AFAIK

Quintong has bounced around Sporting News and CNNSI and maybe CBS...unsure, guess

Joe, very well deserved. Much love and respect for all your efforts from RSFF and Cheatsheets to FBG.

Always classy...always, you set a standard for behavior as well.

Congratulations.

PS I miss seeing the boat pics, you were pretty amazing with them

ETA Say it all the time and forgot it here. Random Shots is still one of my all time favorite pieces written each week

TC is loved by many as one of the nicest guys in FF for such a long time.

Yes he has.

I used to chat with him often but don't anymore. On FB, I see him spending time with grandkids and seems to be enjoying life. He is not shy and would probably appreciate it if you reached out to him to say hi

The FSWA has died down in popularity as has the HOF.

I had heard not two FBGs and too much football as excuses for JB not getting in. I don't think anyone ever doubted it'd happen or questioned his honor just matter of time thing.

As I mentioned in another post, one brother on a dual brother site...I think there were just some odd "politics" and trying to be pc type stuff- zero to do with Joe, really

If you ever have the chance I recommend taking the family to the FSWA HOF. It's a day well spent. Dodds' bust is right across from Funston's. You can only imagine the discussions they have over rankings when the lights go out. There's a section devoted to waiver wire articles where they have original screenshots from the HOF members computers before the articles were published. It's neat seeing the rough draft of Berry saying to pick up Justin Forsett last year, complete with typos. The gift shop is called "Buy Low, Sell High". Every item's price is reduced and they advocate selling it on ebay for a profit. Kind of neat. My wife bought a sign Nate Ravitz bobblehead for $20 and was able to get $53 for it. The day we were there James Quintong was signing autographs and taking pictures. The line was too long, they said about an hour and half wait so we passed. I ended up seeing him when he took a break and waived, told him thanks for ranking Peterson so high predraft his rookie season. He gave me the thumbs up. They don't let you take food in (we had to throw out about $40 worth of KFC) but the snack bar is reasonably priced (try the stuffed Bonini!). The cashier had been there since it opened and said he had met all of the inductees and had dated Scott Engels niece for a bit.

I'd also recommend getting there early. It opens at 8:30 in the morning but usually by 8:28 there is already a line of 2 people there.
