Don't get me wrong, I love baseball (and have posted all year long in many of the Baseball Forum threads). But from an individual play and strategy basis, baseball can't touch football.Sure, baseball has a view specialty plays (bunts, hit and runs, steals, etc.), but overall there are pretty similar and expected results on each play.In football, there are hundreds of plays, stunts, audibles, different defenses, options, etc. and many times the results of even the same play can be dramatically different. Run a sweep one time and get nothing. Run a sweep the next and it could be a TD. Run a sweep the third time and the other team can end up getting a fumble and a TD.Football has 11 guys on a side that all have to do something. Baseball play normally have one guy on offense (and maybe a runner), while the defense mostly involves a pitcher, a fielder, and a first baseman. Not to knock baseball, but each individual play in football is far more sophisticated than that of baseball.
