Well at least he got the cheap shot at baseball out of the way in the first week. He doesn't like baseball. He considers college football the low minors of the NFL. Don't think I've ever heard him say anything about hockey or basketball. So it's only golf and the NFL for him?

For 6 months EVERY day is Football Sunday in Baseball.

Comparing the 2 would be like comparing an ant hill (football) to the alps (baseball).

Don't get me wrong - I love football but it doesn't compare to baseball for fantasy purposes.

:goodposting: Plus baseball is much better than football anyway...

Amen brother !Taking my 4 year old to the Mets vs Phillies Friday night and Saturday afternoon. Got great seats from a client of mine. I'll be front row right behind 1B on the field.Going to batting practice for both games. All my 4 year old wants to do is catch a foul ball and meet Mr Met. :lmao: I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure the kid gets a foul ball.

Don't get me wrong, I love baseball (and have posted all year long in many of the Baseball Forum threads). But from an individual play and strategy basis, baseball can't touch football.

Sure, baseball has a view specialty plays (bunts, hit and runs, steals, etc.), but overall there are pretty similar and expected results on each play.

In football, there are hundreds of plays, stunts, audibles, different defenses, options, etc. and many times the results of even the same play can be dramatically different. Run a sweep one time and get nothing. Run a sweep the next and it could be a TD. Run a sweep the third time and the other team can end up getting a fumble and a TD.

Football has 11 guys on a side that all have to do something. Baseball play normally have one guy on offense (and maybe a runner), while the defense mostly involves a pitcher, a fielder, and a first baseman.

Not to knock baseball, but each individual play in football is far more sophisticated than that of baseball.

Yes, that's what football has going for it over baseball...It's sophistication

I'm not saying the game or the players are sohpisticated, but the plays themselves are much more complicated than baseball.I've coached baseball and football. It is MUCH harder to get kids to do well in football than it is in baseball. Baseball is basically an individual sport masquerading as a team sport. You get a football team that doesn't work together and you are in big trouble.

Baseball>Football>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Joe Bryant

And I like JB.

Wait, people are complaining because the owner of a Fantasy Football web site doesn't like baseball???

What am I missing?

BTW, Fantasy baseball is more fun than fantasy football.

This forum is for FANTASY BASEBALL right?I don't think the argument was that baseball is a better overall game than football, just that there is much more to fantasy baseball, than football.

It's also easier to teach kids to play chess than it is to play football. Guess football is more complicated.
