I have Flacco and Jackson. Normally, I would start Lamar Jackson plus I have Flowers. My opponent this week has Brown, Chase and Higgins. He has about 30 points already from Maye and Diggs. 1/2 ppr. Any thoughts?
I would like to comment on the situation you have laid out when your opponent has WR/RB/TE for your QB. If you are favored then I would break a tie with going with the QB throwing to them. If you are a big underdog I would break the tie to go away from the guy throwing to your opponent. Essentially if you have the Flacco then you are limiting upside and variance as many of his players are tied to yours. That helps when you are favored. You want status quo. Opposite if you are the underdog. You need things to go your way and want to increase variance. Then you go with the other guy.
For this though it's not a tie. Jackson>>>>>>>Flacco. Don't sit Lamar.
