I was looking over my teams stats from week 2 and I noticied that Kitna caught one pass for nine yards. What was the play call on that play? Before or after the head injury?
TIA

he threw it into the back of a lineman, it bounced in the air, he grabbed it and ran for 9 yards. Pretty funny play.I was looking over my teams stats from week 2 and I noticied that Kitna caught one pass for nine yards. What was the play call on that play? Before or after the head injury? TIA
Better than when Brad Johnson did it?Best ever was when Steve Young caught his own deflection and ran it in.
Brad Johnson is the only QB to ever complete a TD pass to himself (1997/1998 timeframe with the Vikes).Best ever was when Steve Young caught his own deflection and ran it in.
nothing like getting 12 points on one play from your QBBrad Johnson is the only QB to ever complete a TD pass to himself (1997/1998 timeframe with the Vikes).Best ever was when Steve Young caught his own deflection and ran it in.
that play won me my fantasy game that weeknothing like getting 12 points on one play from your QBBrad Johnson is the only QB to ever complete a TD pass to himself (1997/1998 timeframe with the Vikes).Best ever was when Steve Young caught his own deflection and ran it in.
Uh, fats, according to the new posted guidelines, I don't think we can make jokes anymore. Which was a massive disappointment to me in the "Did Ben shart?" thread Sunday morning.Kitna drops back, surveys the field quickly as the rush closes in, and unleashes one to Kitna streaking across the middle where's he's tackled for a 9-yard gain.
Wasn't from lack of trying, he tried to leap over the tackler and did a horizontal aerial just short of the 1st down marker. Gutsy play for a QB in general, unreal for a guy who had a concussion in the first half.I believe it hit a DL though, if it hit his own lineman it would've been illegal touching right?Too bad it wasn't 10 yards.Getting even 1 point for receiving yards from your QB is good bragging rights.![]()
we do fractional points, so i got 1.9 pts from that play .9+1 (PPR)Too bad it wasn't 10 yards.Getting even 1 point for receiving yards from your QB is good bragging rights.![]()
Yeah, but they called that incomplete.kinda like that brady play this week where he lost his grip and it bounced off of the ground right back into his hand
he gets that extra yard and i win my game - in case you guys caredToo bad it wasn't 10 yards.Getting even 1 point for receiving yards from your QB is good bragging rights.![]()
nicely played, first guy I thought of.Obligatory Brett Favre reference.
That really seemed to me like it went backwards and should've been ruled down where he recovered it instead of as an incomplete pass. Anyone else think that at the time?kinda like that brady play this week where he lost his grip and it bounced off of the ground right back into his hand

This is why leagues should use decimal scoring... Teams shouldn't lose out on a full point when their QB only gets 9 yards receiving instead of 10.It used to get me a few times a year until we changed our scoring system.he gets that extra yard and i win my game - in case you guys caredToo bad it wasn't 10 yards.Getting even 1 point for receiving yards from your QB is good bragging rights.![]()
