If I go through with the trade, I still have Crawford, D Wright and Byrnes to pad my SB stats, and I am currently using Renteria as my Util, so he would slide into the SS spot. My pitching isn't the greatest: F Hernandez, Penny, El Duque, Bonderman, Guthrie, Marquis and Schmidt (DL) as starters, and M Rivera, T Hoffman, and D Wheeler as RP. I am dead last in both ERA and WHIP. I am fairly confident in accepting this trade offer, but I wanted to check here first.

How do you stand in Average? I understand that you are not worried about losing your positioning in SB's. How far out of it are you in W, Whip and ERA. Given the parameters you have set forth thus far I would do it. Remember, Santana is traditionally MUCH stronger in the 2nd half than in the first half of the season.
