Would any of you consider trading Julio for Evans straight up in a standard scoring league? Evans playoff schedule is awesome and the Falcons schedule isn't looking great.
No, Julio is one of the best receivers in the league, and while Evans is good I don't think Julio having one bad game warrants trading him away this early. Especially not straight up (even if this trade ends up being fair in the long run, if you really want to move him right now I think you could find someone who will give you more based on past performance and the big name).
Fair assessment. My concern is the amount of targets he is getting so far. He had double digit targets almost every game last year. Not one game of more than 8 targets yet this year. Evans is getting a ton of targets. I know that just speaking Julio's name invokes some type of higher value, but I am not sure how well Julio does the rest of this year.
I would actually make this deal. 300 yards and 3 TDs in three games for Evans. Julio...not close. I've always liked Evans more than most, so maybe I'm biased. I certainly expect Julio to have better weeks than he has, but I also expect Evans to continue his current level of play.
I could see a possibility where Evans equals Julio rest of year, especially with Winston's ascension. But probably not many would think that. So I'd sweeten the Evans side so you'd get more in return than just Evans.

i share your concerns on Julio. I think he spoke to the media or the OC did recently about his dropoff in targets. Combined with the lingering injuries i dont think that trade is crazy. Evans owner is probably happy with the production though so he might decline.
